Oh, and it says "at least the first half", which means, the bare minimum but open to it being more.

rpb: No they dont anymore and didnt at the time of the signing. Here's an article full of reasons to doubt him that concludes the best he could do is live up to HALF of the contract.

So, saying a player has a chance to live up to half his contract is an endorsement of the signing?

If I say I am going to eat at least half a dozen hot dogs at one sitting, that is not a statement that I will only be eating half a dozen, that is a floor with an implied projection at more.
