NYC is my favorite place to visit, though I don't think it really counts right now. There are still so many things I have yet to do there.

Pick a city in either Maui or Kauai and you can't go wrong either.

It's high school with ash trays.

My favorite city is Cairo, IL. It's just like being on the set of The Walking Dead, but with much more racism!

I've yet to go to a city that is ideal, but anyone I know who's visited San Diego has said it's basically heaven.

Las Vegas is like saying Disneyworld. The faux parts are fun but if you look behind the scenes its depressing.

San Diego has nice weather, but that's about it. There isn't much going on there. The biggest downside is how close it is to the Mexican border.

If you want nice weather go to Lake Tahoe in the summer and Phoenix in the winter.

In a lot of less populated areas of a country the city is sort of defined more as a metro area rather than one specific town. In the case of Los Angeles it's also a county and the city is 469 square miles. Chicago on the other hand is 234 square miles, which means it would have more people than Los Angeles if more parts of Cook County were included as part of the city. In the larger context people consider the suburbs to be part of the Chicagoland area.

While Denver and Colorado Springs are not the same city they are a little over an hour's drive from one another. That's not too much further apart than Chicago and DeKalb or a little closer than Chicago and Rockford. In Chicago traffic you're probably not getting very far in the suburbs in an hour's drive.

Tough to argue that. Fantastic weather and fantastic beer is a great start.

But, that is the only reason to go there. I wouldn't want to live there. I don't want to live somewhere, where it is 120 degrees for four months.

There are issues with kidnapping, drugs and other illegal activities in places near the border.

I got news for ya. There are issues with drugs, violence, and other illegal activities far away from the Mexican border too.

Oh, ok. I dont hear a lot of bad things about San Diego in that regard though. That's why I ask.
