Hmmmmm. RT @ESPNStatsInfo: Spurs: 14-2 in potential series-clinching games played on the road since 2002-03 postseason. Rest of NBA: 61-75.

I tip my hat to the Spurs. I'm actually shocked they won game 5.

I love it. This reminds me of a certain guy that had a certain opinion of Noah and would not change it no matter what evidence piled up that he was wrong. Wish I could remember who that guy was...

 You realize I was right and you were wrong about Noah, correct?

And the series is tied 2-2. It's crazy that everyone is acting like its over.

yes, that was said tongue firmly planted in cheek. I've admitted fully elsewhere to being wrong about Noah (in some respects). I will be very happy to be wrong about this series too.

Is that to suggest that the commissioner wants to stick it to LeBron and especially Wade for teaming up in Miami?

I'm going to guess it's suggesting that Stern is a man that can make your worst nightmares come true. You talk and jive about 14-2 in clinching games....and Stern makes one single call to the refs and it's all over.

Of course David Stern and the ABC Execs want a game 7. But hopefully the Spurs will show up and finish off Miami. Honestly I actually wouldn't mind it if Splitter didn't play much tonight. He's been terrible in this series. I'd like to see Duncan put up 25 points tonight too.

Heat win by at least ten tonight. Game seven will be closer.

How do you know San Antonio won't just come out desperate and blow them away?

Well I don't know anything, I'm just predicting. The Heat are at home in an elimination game, the crowd will be wild, emotions will be heavy, and I see them running out to an early lead and more or less sustaining the pace. It wouldn't be the first time that's happened this series for either team. Although I think the Heat will win the championship, I've said before that I hope I'm wrong.

You mean the fans might show up for the first quarter?

Doubtful...

Game 7 is a lock now. Joey Crawford will make it happen.

Touché...

Still think Heat cruise to a relatively easy win tonight. We'll see what happens.

if Duncan was smart, he'd run over Joey "accidentally" setting a screen or something. The rest of the crew is decent, I like Duke Callahan despite his associations with Tim. Marc Davis would make a good 3.

If the Spurs don't win tonight I don't like their chances for Game 7. That's pretty much the extent of my NBA analysis.

I think Heat win, but I hope I'm wrong. I just don't see a migration yet for the Bird man.

Yep. The Birdman will try and take flight and lead his flock to victory.

Hope I'm wrong but I see Heat playing crazy desperate vs Spurs vets on quick turnaround with travel. Heat by 20. But Spurs in 7.

I don't feel like it is possible, but would love a Spurs win tonight.

I know this isn't the B&B thread but whatever. If the Spurs win tonight Dan has no one but himself to blame for people calling in and gloating about LeBron not having the killing instinct, or being a choke-artist, or whatever meatball thing people want to shit on LeBron for, as he's spent the past 3 years doing unspeakable things to LeBron.

I agree. It's a total injustice that LeBron has to play by the same rules as everyone else.
