3 of the 4 starters listed for the Cardinals have ERA's under 2 1/4 and the other guy is 9-1....Cubs have their work cut out for them in this series.

I can take over for Lipid. Lynn and Westbrook both were awful in their last starts. Cards are home after a less than stellar road trip, considering the competition. They should take 3 of 4 here, but they won't. Series split.

Take away the National League Central Division (of which the Cub are members), and the Cub would be fine. Even after Marmol crapped himself in the ninth inning at New York on Sunday, the Cub are 20-18 outside the Central.
I'm not sure if this is meaningful, just SHARKING it up here... :bom:

I recommend a follow. Fuck St. Louis and anyone associated or living vaguely close to the area. I'll accept RFDC as collateral damage. Sorry my friend.

Cards vs Cubs: Model franchise vs Model T franchise.

Do not associate me with anything St. Louis. I hate that place and anything associated with it.

I stand by my vitriol which I'm using to hide my jealously for the Cardinals.

I realize Sullivan is just being contrarian, which the Tribune pays him to do for some reason.

The Model T was also a high quality product and clearly the class of it's field back in 1908.

It looks like Gregg must feel sorry for Marmol and is going to blow one himself tonight just to keep that 10 million dollar pile of shit from jumping off the arch tonight.

I love how I haven't said a damn thing to Cubs fans at work all year and the first person I see today can't wait to flash their Cubs shirt in my face.

I know somewhere in Missouri there is a Cards fan doing it to a Cubs fan after they win and I hope that Cards fan gets kicked in the balls and/or uterus.

yeah those kind of fans piss me off.

I have no idea how a Cub fan could do that considering the records of both teams right now.

I guess I could see it if the Cubs beat the Cardinals in a playoff series or something like that.

Well when Lipid is 62 and a week away from retirement, I'm sure he will be OK with the Cubs winning a game in the NLCS.
