SEXUAL HARASSMENT: This is what it looks like.

On this past Thursday's episode of Impact Wrestling, ring announcer Christy Hemme introduced Christopher Daniels and Kazarian. Problem is, Austin Aries and Bobby Roode were walking to the ring. Aries backed Hemme into a corner, made her re-do the intro, then mounted the turnbuckle and PUT HIS CROTCH IN HER FACE.

Bullying and sexual harassment take place every day. Most of the perpetrators don't do it ON NATIONAL TV, or IN FRONT OF A LIVE CROWD.

It's hard to imagine Aries won't be fired, suspended, fined or at least publicly censured. Fake wrestling is a boys' club, but a woman runs Impact: Dixie Carter.

This WAS NOT scripted. Aries is a heel, but WAS NOT merely acting in character. Look at Hemme: SHE'S TERRIFIED.

Sadly I checked out his further thoughts. He wants Aries fired. Aries should be terminated. He’s a nobody. A cult guy. Madden keeps it up with his eloquently worded rant..this guy is a "journalist"? He calls Dixie a mark, an idiot, stupid, and a moneymark. Also says women are underpaid at TNA. This is absolutely true, but its public knowledge Hemme gets $175M per year.

I hadn't considered a potential lawsuit, but I suppose she would have a shot.

Non-action on Aries just confirms that Carter is a total mark, not to mention an idiot. This isn’t an unconfirmed backstage story. It’s not a rumor. WE ALL SAW WHAT HAPPENED. IT WAS ON NATIONAL TV.

If Aries remains with Impact and I’m Hemme, I lawyer up and sue Carter’s ass off. A different woman might own Impact. She couldn’t do worse.

Women get treated terrible at Impact. Underpaid and minimized.

I have heard Austin Aries is an incredible douchebag outside of the ring from others that work with him. These same people have little to no problems with everyone else on the TNA roster. One o them surprised it still happened but if you explained the incident and asked who would most likely do that, his name would come up first. Should be a hefty suspension with no pay or flat out firing.

Madden is just terrible. There's no news. He just calls people names. Regardless what Aries did and how the dust settles, Madden looks like the biggest wank in all of this. His point is that Aries is short and couldn't kick Madden's ass? First there is absolutely zero doubt in my mind that Aries would absolutely destroy Madden in whatever manner he chose. He'd just toy with him. He basically calls him an indy geek. When he came back to TNA, he got SOOO over, they had no choice but to put the HEAVYWEIGHT strap on him. Not bad for a guy who is 5'2" (BTW, he's a least 5'8"). He's also a TNA triple crown winner and ROH champ (2 times). I've heard for years that he's an arrogant condescending asshole, but who cares. He's also the only guy in the 21st century who did an interview in full kayfabe mode (with Alvarez pushing some match with Jimmy Jacobs). Madden is still bitching that he hasn't been fined or fired. Mark doesn't understand there's an entire process to all of that. If Hemme sues TNA for harassment and they willingly fired Aries for it, its gonna be hard for them to say she wasn't harassed. Goodbye TNA. Make her sign a piece of paper saying she can't sue and write her a check (which will of course never clear).

I watched an Awesome Kong interview this morning and she wouldn't say 1 bad word about Dixie. Didn't have 1 good word to say either. Neutral on everything which says a lot. Says Dixie pays the make-up ladies backstage more than the workers. (in fairness make-up people are union), doesn't pay for motel rooms for the chicks on the road and they had to pack 6 chicks in a room. She peaked at $400 per show as Knockouts champ. Flair got $35,000 per appearance. Hogan is getting $75,000 per appearance. When the former ECW guys came in for that PPV a few years ago, they each got $250. I can't even imagine what Bischoff and Hervey are getting out of her.

She also said Jim Ross told her she was too fat to ever make it in wrestling and to give up. She might be my favorite chick worker of all time. Well done JR.

David Schwarz, Spike TV’s senior VP/communications, says Austin Aries will be disciplined for the incident involving Aries and Christy Hemme on last Thursday’s Impact. Just as significant, Schwarz unhesitatingly described what happened as sexual harassment.

“We have a zero tolerance policy for sexual harassment,” Schwarz said. “We discussed [the incident] with our partner. [Aries is] being disciplined. I’m trying to get more information on what action is being taken. Dixie Carter took this very personally. He will be disciplined. Again, we have a zero tolerance policy for sexual harassment.

“I’m not sure specifically how [the discipline] will be handled. To what extent, I don’t know. This is certainly something we don’t condone and don’t tolerate. Such behavior is not welcome.

It was suggested that, since Hemme was harassed on national TV, Aries’ discipline should be made public. Schwarz responded:

“I think that a statement of some sort will be coming. That’s being worked out. But immediate action will be taken.”

Carter has not replied to requests for an interview

TNA wrestler Chavo Guerrero defended co-worker Austin Aries and criticized Mark Madden in relation to the controversy over Aries "crotching" ring announcer Christy Hemme during last Thursday's Impact episode. (Madden has been pushing for TNA to address the situation.)

Chavo tweeted Tuesday: "Great Job @MarkMaddenX for watering down wrestling even more. God forbid that a wrestler breaks out of the typical mold of being so scared to show his personality on TV. U must've been going crazy during the 'attitude era' with every cutting edge thing that Vince did!"
