It's funny to hear ads for "Avoid The Scam" on the Score. Especially the one victim who fell for the "sign on the door, the fancy car..." The only thing missing is the mahogany table!!

I went to Wendy's last night and ordered a chocolate shake looking Frosty.

This recent flooding in the NW burbs reminds me of one of my favorite dumb-husband-smart-wife commercials from the Score:

I still to this day have not figured out the logic behind the dumb-husband-smart-wife concept. Especially on a station with a listenership that is at least 95% male. I imagine the female Eric and Kathy demo might adore them - except, what wife enjoys thinking of her husband as a buffoon, even if she thinks he is one?

I suppose the marketers just don't care about how the audience meshes with the tone of the ad? But that makes zero sense to me. I don't get it.

The WalMart commercial where they apparently start serving steaks at a Lynyrd Skynyrd concert. After they tell the crowd that the steaks are from WalMart, they all start laughing and yelling. I'm still not sure why they're so excited about it.
