Seriously, a solid adversary. More so than Philly or Vancouver.
Just a badass team that looked to me had the advantage most of the series and still somehow came up short.
I thought they played hard, and fair. I didn't "hate" anyone like they were saying we would.

Except maybe Rask. But goalies... they're so... goalieish.

The Bruins blew their load in the first period. That was all they had. Big physical teams cant hang with the more talented speed teems like the Hawks for 3 periods. As I said before the Kings & Bruins series, speed will beat physicality. The Kings won 1 game & the Bruins won 2 games.

With regards to hateability, Brad Marchand is about as hateable a little prick as you will find in the NHL...& the Hawks rendered him a non factor in the Cup final. And the biggest bad ass in the NHL, Charra, was on the ice for 10 of the Hawks 12 goals. The big guy is over rated.
The Hawks have the makings of an NHL dynasty team.

A BIG FUCKING FAIL

These Deadspin guys are morons. I'm not a big hockey guy, but I know the Bowmans are right in understanding that way too much is made of goalies. The Hawks would have won this thing with Emery back there too. It's how the guys play in front of him. That's why the Bruins could just replace the "best goalie in the world" Thomas with Rask and not miss a beat.
