It's over at Foster/Ashland in beautiful Andersonville. Lebanese and lesbians, together at last.

I got the beef shawarma and lamb kebab wraps. Yeah, both, and they were only $3.49 each! What a deal for two well-stuffed footlong wraps! How do they do it? Well, I think I paid about $1.75 for a can of Coke. So that sucked, and I'm not sure I want to take the chance of bringing in my own soda and getting yelled at. Especially if it's in Arabic. But they were both terrific, especially the lamb. I love lamb. They also keep some sambal on hand if you want to pursue the ever-unlikely
Indonesian-Lebanese fusion.

There's also a Middle Eastern bakery across the street, where I bought some date cookies and Turkish Delight. Turns out they're real! I thought they only existed in Narnia. Takes about half an hour to nibble a cubic inch of it. You must take your time.

I agree with Curious--this place is very good. The Mediterranean grocery place across the way also has some nice house-made breads.
