The communal experience at the Ryder Cup last year was a fantastic experience. Meeting people from different countries and seeing so many people forsaking updates via smartphone and just enjoying the action in front of them. The best was waiting for the old-timers to update each match on the wooden scoreboards.

And my experience at the Ryder Cup was being stuck in a bottleneck on the cart path, which took about 45 minutes to travel 200'. All the while stuck behind a fat ass puffing away on a cigar.

I hate baseball and go to a couple games a year. I loved football and almost never went. It's not a fun experience for me.

Nah. I stupidly bought the mlb.tv package this year to watch the White Sox. I'm just using the same logic that JORR is when he tries to explain why people like football by pretending like people only like it for those reasons.
