Anti-Apartheid Sting Concerts?

Where he doesn't even bother to play anything from The Police?

Has there been any other solo career more terrible than Sting's?

Clapton's is bad too, but there's at least some okay stuff in there.

Good question, I think the answer is "NO."

Clapton has a long career with a ton of garbage, but you're right, there is some good stuff to be found. Also, his best stuff was in collaboration with Phil Collins.

A search for gold in Sting's catalog will only end in tears.

There's nothing musically wrong with either Ten Summoner's Tales nor The Dream of the Blue Turtles, never mind the production and engineering on the former, and the studio players on the latter.

Guy I work with is South African, has nothing but hate for both Mandelas. Holds them responsible for multiple murders of white land owners for the sake of furthering the black cause. even claims Winnie is responsible for coming up with the practice of burning the head of the family to death with a tire around his arms. I have no knowledge on either side of the argument, but he is quite persuasive, and very passionate about the topic.

'Necklacing' dates back to the 80's and started as a mostly black-on-black form of punishment in the townships.

Florida contains the largest population of White South Africans/'Afrikaners' outside South Africa itself--which maybe explains a bit about how messed up that State is these days. I think Miami is up there with Perth and London in terms of a single city infestation of white South Africans, but the entire State of Florida, from Jacksonville to Pensacola down to Naples and across Alligator Alley to Miami is lousy with douchebag white South Africans.

One of Malkovich's more recent acting roles is a film about South Africa post-apartheid, worth torrenting:

Only on the CSFMB can a RIP thread be about someone who may or may not be dead and be discussing the merits of Sting's solo career.

I think he was bad once he went to The Crow makeup...
