Welcome to my city. Sure it is a little congested with you down here today but spend your money and expand your horizons enjoying the urban experience. Just make sure to cross the street should you see any person with skin darker than an irishman's in winter.

Cool that people want to show their support or whatever but I don't think I would wade into that
mess if you paid me.

No, I hopped on the bandwagon like most people did. It was a fun ride and I grew a new appreciation
for hockey in general.

a very homogeneous crowd. seems like a lot of them had already been hitting the bottle by 7AM. I think I saw the Ligue family.

There are way too many of those people on the train. I've really been trying to keep my hockey hate in check lately (thanks for noticing), but I swear for God if one of these drunk fucks gets in my way today there will be a problem...

If they touch you in a way that makes you feel uncomfortable, tell an adult or someone you trust.

The South Shore from IN was full of drunk/getting drunk fans already and I was on the 6:46 train.

I really hope the crowd is cleared by rush hour. I have to take a train home tonight in the 4 hour and I'm in a hurry.

I remember it was fine going home in 2010. I'm sure all the Klansmen will be departing earlier after the celebration ends.

Seem to be setting a rather brisk pace for a parade.

This parade is too organized. 2010 was really cool to watch on tv, was total anarchy.

Fastest parade ever. I think they were doing 30mph. If you blinked you missed the Cup.

I did not blink, and it was glorious.

There's a reason for that:

Joe Ostrowski ‏@JoeO670 6m
“@JamesNeveau: Two men arrested in front of City Hall before parade passes. One had two loaded guns. Good work Chicago PD!”

Krazy Ivan is against guns right? He's been a little antsy lately.

Whoa, gonna see if I can find details on that.

I don't know why I have it on ABC. The amount of crap coming out of Giangreco's mouth right now is quite a thing. Hawks might trade Sharp (what?), Kane admitted this season he wasn't interested in defense (eventhough he had his best defensive season of his career), etc.

B&B are taking this hockey fan hate way too seriously.

Maybe. This is way more organized. I think the big difference to the naked eye is that this time around the fans can't follow the team in the middle of the street because of a way bigger police presence this time around. The buses got swarmed in 2010.
