When B&B were content with their program and embraced their own style, the show was fantastic and Dan was a great host. After PSU happened Dan realized he'd much prefer to talk about politics and transcendent issues. Now there's no going back and you can tell he loathes it. But yeah, used to be fantastic.

I think the show stopped being fantastic several years ago, but even after the initial decline it was still a solid show....but it kept on declining faster and faster. The show became dogshit about 3 years ago, that was when everyone was in denial. SomeGuy was just ahead of the curve.

Nas was right about Dwight Howard years before everyone else.

I remember some pretty big cracks in the foundation developing around last April when the Rose soap opera started up. I remember a particularly good thread where the tone of this board really started to change. Hope bigfan didn't prune it!

Good lord I had a moment there. Debate the goodness/badness of said moment if you must, but it was a moment. 2012 was my year. That's it! It wasn't necessarily a good year, but it was my year. Maybe more like a day of year, but I'll take it.
