It's gonna be tough to beat that.
Distant second for me was Fred McGriff. He was a total jag when they were trying to get him and I think he's a putz.

Farns was just a twit. Hawkins was a head case.

Didn't they sign Bradley because they needed a RH power hitter....but he didn't hit for power from the right side?

Or was it the other way around?

Either way, the guy was a total asshole from day one, not just in Chicago, but in the MLB.

The fans turned on him in record time.

Felix Heredia
Corey Patterson (except for 1/2 season in 03)
Todd Hundley

Didn't Hundley have emotional problems? Like real ones?

Derek Lee (after his daughters health issues) His attitude really pissed me off after that. He completely stopped giving a shit about baseball except cashing the check. Before that I thought he was a good guy and a good player.

Ian Stewart- recent but still a huge prick

Fuk's 1st translator. I've had to deal with him myself. You don't get fired if you are a fucking translator, but he did....and it doesn't surprise me one bit.

That tall shitty pitcher from last year they got in the zambrano deal. He kept blaming everyone for his shittiness.

Quade. Awful. Just awful as a manager.

Hendry. As much as I love some of his moves, I also hate some of his other moves and NTC's!!!!

Eh, no matter who else is said Milton wins in a landslide.

I even had my gf at the time, who wasn't a baseball fan, talk about the way the hat would fit on his head. So from that point, anytime we'd see someone with a big hat on, we'd refer to it as the "Fred McGriff Hat".

Going back to a kid, I hated Calvin Schraldi. Especially because the Cubs traded Lee Smith for him.

Remember when Phil Nevin was on the team? He was douchey if I recall, right?

Sammy turned out to be an ass but I loved him for a very long time so I can't say I hated him.

Shawn Estes won a big game in the 2003 playoffs didn't he? Plus the motherfucker hit a grand slam once. how could you hate him? it's like hating Joe Borowski for getting the milkdud lung.

This is a tough one. I actually defended Milton Bradley on here right up to the end. I'll go with Leo Durocher for being the first manager to pinch hit for Ernie Banks. He hated Ernie because he was a New York guy who loved Willie Mays. He also skipped out on the club to go fishing in the middle of a pennant race.

I think you're forgetting how awful Estes was. Borowski was at least decent for a year.

Id wager majority of Cubs fans passionately hate him. I've moved on and hate Castro.

dude, I can forgive bad. I ain't gonna hate on bad. Shit if that were the case I'd hate 75% of the Cubs over my lifetime. Bradley was a bad guy. Can't really think of a lot of other bad guys.

Derrek Lee treated the fans like shit, but he was productive enough to forgive him, or at least withhold him from "most hated Cub."

If you go back on Bradleys Cub history,I didn't feel it was that big of a deal. So he shot his mouth off here and there. No big deal. The press ate it up though.

He left the club to go with his girlfriend to visit her son at summer camp in Wisconsin, not go fishing.

I don't remember him ever pitching but I had his baseball card and I couldn't stand him because he looked like a fat sloppy piece of shit.
