He gave the Sox 200+ innings every year. Two years with an ERA right around league average and two with an ERA well better than average. Maybe if the Sox had more "garbage" like that, they'd win more.

I never had an issue with what they gave up to get him or Swisher even though it was a lot. It's what they got coming back when they moved them that pisses me off. They gave Vazquez and Swisher away for nothing after letting idiot Guillen define who the two guys were as ballplayers. If Ozzie had never said shit about Vazquez, Sox fans wouldn't hate him anywhere near as much as they do. He'd just be a guy who wasn't great but did okay for your team.
