Castro is so lost. It's getting uncomfortable to watch.

I'd try a change of position first.

I have a feeling he would have no problem booting it around wherever you put him.

Maybe but he might be able to relax a little more and concentrate on hitting. It's worth a shot to break him out of this funk.

I feel like Castro has been trending slightly upwards in the last two weeks. I've seen some better at bats since the day off, IMO.

His first AB today was horrendous. I hope you're right.

He was probably party rocking his face off all night now that they are back in town.

A post of mine from the Starlin-o-meter thread

I have no numbers or anything to base this on. But in just watching Castro the last 2-3 games he appears to be moving back to more of the free swinger who just goes up there and sees the ball and hits it. I hope that is correct.

I really don't see what they value in rondon. He blows every time he pitches

Castro is hiding it but he blew his hammy on that fielding attempt.

All he does is hit home runs Hairston.

He has 17 hits this year. 8 are bombs.

That was a real good ab by marte. He is also responsible for their 2nd run when he busted his ass running out a possible double play.

yeah hard to blame that one on Gregg. He made a nice pitch to Marte and he just hit the crap out of it.

There's nothing Sappelt can do.

He is beyond worthless. I forgot borbon was on the team. There is really no reason for him to be there.

As much as these games don't truly matter, Sappelt manages to get me angry every time I see him. He's in my head.

According to Woodridge Ryan on Twitter, Cubs are 2 games over .500 since May 26. If true, pretty decent.

The #Cubs have won five of their last seven series dating to June 14. Cubs win consecutive home series for first time since Aug13-26, 2012.

The pitching has been outstanding. Today was basically a bullpen day and to only give up 3 is great.
