By the way, there was almost no point in the history of b and b that they were the best sports talk show so stop this line of stupidity

Thank Christ he didn't turn into a parody of himself. That would be fucked up.

He seems to genuinely love his children and is probably a good dad.

Also a guy you wouldn't mind having on your side on certain issues.

Other than that he can fuck off to WCPT if he wants to talk politics. Norman Goldman is looking for a partner.

Thanks. But this is about Dan Bernstein.

haha..

some of these are really funny.

I actually agree with Bernstein 95% of the time about most things. Funny, he annoyed the crap out of me when I first started listening to the station.. when he was a Bears reporter.. and would say "THE SCORE" as if shouting it out loud.. I was like wtf is that?

If I had a complaint, I'd say there are times when he is an asshat when he really doesn't need to be, when a caller is simply blissfully rather than stupidly ignorant or confused.

but I guess that's a part of his shtick .. being a "p-heenis".

I still wonder what happened internally at the station (if anything) when he very publicly lambasted and humiliated Shuster over using an incorrect adjective. It was way way over the top, downright mean and angry, made him to look like a king sized A hole (I've noticed that since then he's been on much much better behavior with Shuster on the air)

but overall, he's a super welcome, highly intelligent breath of fresh air away from meatball-ism, which I've always hated. He's also very funny and does killer impressions. If he were ever to go to a more national stage, and just be straight arrow with intelligent analysis, he'd lose a major part of his appeal (for me anyways). Having Terry as a sidekick is perfect for him. Makes him even more goofy and risque. He's rarely as good when hosting with anyone else.

only other "complaint" is that away from the risque stuff he's allowed to do on the radio (like references to "big boobies" about a weatherwoman(?) within the same corporation)

and away from his contract renegotiation table.. he's a bit too "corporate" for me. I suspect he'd be even more so when forced to, he's fortunate to get the latitude he does.

but then.. he has a family to support.. I don't.

That's where I give Mc Neill a ton of credit, and why I've always liked him. He's honest to a fault.. sometimes amazing and intimately honest.

these are tiny bitchings though.

Boers and Bernstein is the one show I would pay MONEY for.. in order to get podcast access. (that's not just Bernstein, Boers is a necessary component)
