First off, fuck them. They're all over my grill and area surrounding the grill. Anyone had this issue before? I doused the area and my foundation with a gallon of the Ortho stuff. I've read to leave the cover off to reduce moisture, so I'll be trying that after grilling tonight's hamburger sandwiches. Thanks, I'll hang up and listen for my answer.

They kill air conditioners too. No shit. They get into contactors. Replaced 10 of them last week alone due to Earwigs. I had a post about it in this forum, under stupid shit customers say.

fun fact for youngsters: earwigs did not exist in this area until the mid 1980s I guess. like all bad shit, they probably came over from China.

The FBI planted them in the area to destroy the black population.

I had a problem with some click beetles since a few weeks after moving to new place. Had to get an exterminator out to get rid of them.

Home remedy that works: fill a spray bottle with soapy water. Spray the fuckers liberally. The soap eats through their waxy back shell and kills 'em dead. No harmful chemicals so you can tell your "green" friends that you're helping the environment. Win win! :D
