I believe so. He led off the segment, said "Hi Guys", made an extremely nitpicky crap, which often times wasn't sports related, made some reference to Bonanza, cracked himself up, and ended with that sound effect.

His craps were kind of horrendous, but he seemed like a really sweet guy.

i met him at the b&b remote back in late 2011, and he was wearing the famous expos hat. he looked a lot like how i thought. the heavy mouth breathing was disturbing, but i usually actually liked his WYC contributions.

What makes this even more tragic is that I do a great Gary in Evanston impersonation, and I never got a chance to use it. I thought that someday I could call in with a crap as Evan Stone in Gary, and do it in the Gary voice, but sadly, the world will now be deprived the honor.
