Bulls need to sign him to distract the fans from pissing on Rose when he comes back.

Sign with the Rockets and you can play with Royce White.

This is just getting ridiculous. The only ball players that deserve that kind of A-list attention would be Lebron or Kobe. Dwight Howard doesn't even deserve a call from Erik Estrada.

 holy hell is that something.

Can you imagine if something like that happened in Chicago? The outrage of the fans around here would go off the charts!!!!!!!!!

Yea, but he wears socks when swimming. Safe to assume he is a serial killer.

This is how I would rank the teams he might sign with.

1. Rockets
2. Mavs
3. Warriors
4. Atlanta
5. Lakers

Even lower than that, I think.

Olajuwon
Robinson
Ewing
O'Neal
Mourning
Smits
Webber
Mutombo
Daugherty
Divac
Camby
Sabonis

Dwight Howard is not better than any of those players in their primes. I'd probably put him 13th or 14th. Maybe he beats out Kevin Willis....maybe.

Webber was a power forward he is better than from Zo on down!

Good call on Webber. He wasn't a center.

I'll still disagree and say I'd much rather have Daugherty or Camby in their primes than Dwight Howard at any point in his career. Perhaps Divac and Sabonis as well.

I have been led to believe a team needed 3 superstars to win it all. I don't think the league has that many superstars. How many does the league have 12????

Golden State is trying to move heaven and earth to get Howard. They are already WAY over the cap.

They have 3 HUGE expiring contracts that they'd like to unload:

$14.2 million - Andrew Bogut
$11.0 Richard Jefferson
$9.0 Andris Biedrins

They also have Brandon Rush's contract expiring at $4.0 mil.

There's talk that they'll probably have to couple either Klay Thompson or Harrison Barnes with one of those bad contracts, and probably have to throw in a #1 pick too.

It's said that Mark Jackson really made an impact on Dwight during their meeting.

It would seem that Dwight's camp may have tipped the Warriors off to some sort of thoughts that he's having as their confidence in acquiring him has grown exponentially.

But they have some serious work to do in order to even make it a possibility.

This is why you don't use your one time amnesty on Charlie Bell's $4 million contract.

They would have to destroy their team to get Dwight. Hes not taking them to the promised land either.

I can't believe they didn't use their amnesty on Biedrins. That is some poo-poo paper right there. Maybe the worst contract in the league, and he is STILL under contract.

This is a great young team. Why would they potentially blow this thing up just to get Howard? They should be trying to clear out all that bad cap space, and they can probably make a big splash next year in Free agency. I think all of those terrible contracts above expire after this upcoming season.

Howard is a loser. The team that signs him will be ruing the day they did.

Why aren't you using the other thread for this? Does Dwight want to be LeBron?

He's just giving himself time to change his mind another 5 times.

Yeah, I tried to post a pic of a custom "Dwight Coward" jersey, but the NBA shop was being a bitch.
