As the boards expert on dumb arguments, baseball has by far the dumbest arguments. Every person on this board for the past few weeks should take some inventory of the life decisions that led them to arguing about wins and the plurals of acronyms.

Not looking to start an argument, but I'm confused with your mention of 'laser.'

RBI isn't word. Ribbie is a word. RBI is still an acronym. And, the way you have "laser" spelled out, that looks like a word, not an acronym. Is it derived from an acronym, like SCUBA? Educate me, please. Thank you.

I was corrected by Doc when I used RBI's in the first place. I'm confused and will now have to take a sedative (Tuning in AM1000 now)

Laser isn't a great example. I'm just ranting. Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation. If I was making that argument, then it should be written as 33 rbi.

DVD is more what I'm talking about. Do the talking heads at Entertainment Tonight refer to a movie selling 300,000 DVD just to sound cool and smarter than everybody else?
