Mcleod has claimed that Vitters has a fast enough bat, but is not selective. is he right? I have no idea, but you do give the a #1 pick all the chances you can before you cut him. I think he might be on his 8th life.

His only chance with the Cubs is as a utility guy platooning at 3B and maybe spelling Rizzo at first and maybe some AB's in LF is they trade/rest Soriano. But he needs to get his panzy ass healthy first and start hitting again.

I look for him to be traded at some point although they may give him until Spring Training next year before they cut bait.

Just goes to show prospects = suspects which is why I'd like to see them extend Garza unless they get overwhelmed with a Godfather offer.

Vitters had a pretty crappy projection. If memory serves me, another guy like Jake Fox and the guy Elmhurst Steve had a crush on who can hit the ball, but has no real position.
