I'll throw out candidate #1, Sir Nick's Pizza

http://www.sirnickspizzahoffmanestates.com/

Have a location on Palatine in Hoffman Estates and in Bartlett. For four bucks, you get a pizza and pop. A slice is bigger than most other fast food places I have found. Sausage and meat-lovers are the better than the pep and plain cheese. A bit doughy if that is your thing.

Its amazing how bad some of the single slice restaurants are. There are four places by my office, including a Rosattis. Other than the Sir Nicks, two of them look and taste like a frozen pizza. Just sickening.

$5 Large at Little Caesers (just posted the other day that they now have a deep pan for $8 that's pretty decent)

$5 Big Slice and a drink at Bacci in Melrose Park.

Reggios or Home Run Inn in the oven.

Pizza Now on Barrington by the Wal Mart.

Sir Nicks was great. They used to have one on Roselle by the Fox and Hound and another over on Bode.

You all might laugh, but the $1.50 slice and drink at Costco is good too.

$5 for a giant slice + drink > the Little Caesar's $5 pizza

http://www.yelp.com/biz/primos-chicago- ... ta-chicago

Topper's runs decent specials. Pizza's alright.

This spot across from the S Loop Binny's/next to Manny's sells 2 slices + 2 cans of soda for like $6:

http://www.yelp.com/biz/atinos-pizza-chicago

their veggie slices are actually decent and they have other food that's pretty good for the price as well.

Triano's on Archer, tasty thin crust/good price:

Rosati's are hit and miss. Some are awesome, some are terrible.

The one by me is owned / run by some sort of Middle Easteners. Im afraid to criticize it due to possible fatwa but its really horrible.

Agreed! The one 5 minutes from my house is awful but the one 10 mins away (which oddly is the one that delivers to us) is great.

I'm a huge fan of Sir Nick's! I've never eaten it and I never plan to eat it, but believe me, I'm a big fan of that pizza!

Totino's is the worst thing imaginable. I had a roommate in college who lived off that stuff. You could get one at Wal-Mart in Dekalb for 78 cents. Dude would go through about 10 of them a week. Fucking grossest pizza ever.

Hawg Jr. likes them too and since he needs to eat every 2 hours I am a fan. Very cheap and he likes it = win for me.

I used to just like a syrup sandwich, which consisted of toasted white bread, butter and syrup.
