Per Hoyer, he is going to Boise.

Let's hope this guy is real and can play third.

They are missing an opportunity sending him to boise. He probably skips Kane County then next year which would be ideal right now to build a strong local fan base for him.

He will be at both this season, I'm sure. Boise would only be a "get the rust off" stop.

I wonder if Bill Buckner is still the hitting coach at Boise?

local fan base...the pool of nerds who go to see minor league baseball to watch guys who might be playing for the MLB team they follow is not that large

Exactly. After a few days of orientation type stuff in AZL, they'll give him hopefully a week or two in Boise to hit with real wood bats etc. Hopefully he shows he doesn't belong them quickly.

Would love for him to perform well enough to end the season in Daytona. I"m sure that's Jed and Theo's goal for him.

love the definitive statement from a guy who has never seen him play and most likely never heard of the guy two months ago

No, he'll get fucked up and become Rizzo.

Why the anger with Rizzo?

IMU has probably read articles from people who have talked to scouts or seen him live themselves. There's a bunch of resources on the internet providing prospect news. You're purposely ignoring the large demand b/c you don't care for it.

I think Bryant will be fine in the long run but I think he may struggle at first. He's a big kid with a big swing and those types of hitters have trouble adjusting to higher velocity and better off speed pitches. He's going to have to work on shortening his swing and that could take some time.

If that were true then the appropriate phrasing would be "I have heard" or "I have read" he is polished.

However, even if that is the information he used to arrive at his opinion, it is hardly worthy of being so sure in his analysis. It would be like me coming on here on draft day and calling Evan Rodriguez a buster only because I heard Mel Kiper call him a buster.

I ignore the product, not the demand. I am aware of the demand.

Do you see the difference in what Keyser is doing and what IMU is doing Kirkwood?

No, it's all bullshit scout talk for a kid who'll have a 10% of being anything. Prospect talk sucks.

No it isn't. Keyser has seen the prospect himself and incorporated what he has read and seen into his own opinions.

Cubs signed Clifton for $375K and Remillard for $150K. That should be it for the Cubs.

Just purely on the amount of guys signed and the old 'potential', but very happy with the additions made in college and international draft/signing periods
