Did Kirstie Alley lash out at Leah Remini for criticizing -- and leaving --the Church of Scientology? A longtime member of the talked-about religion alongside the likes of John Travolta, Tom Cruise and others, the Emmy-winning actress, 62, angrily lashed at someone, anyway, via Twitter last Wednesday July 10. As first observed on Tony Ortega's blog about Scientology, the Veronica's Closet star sniped: "When faced w malicious gossip I take a moment to experience the loss of a person I thought was my friend . . Then I say f--k em . . . : ) #Rise" She added cryptically: "The sweetest poison is often served with a smile . . . beware syrup."

What's amazing about Kirtsie is she has stayed in the public eye getting various TV roles even though she hasn't done Jacks Shit since Cheers. I don't get the fasination with a washed up 62 year old fat actress.

Other than a tweet like this she really hasn't been in the public eye. RPB's initial blurb lists her as "the former star of Veronica's Closet"...which went off the air in 2000. She had another short-lived series in 2005 and has subsisted on the occasional made for TV movie since then.

I don't believe anyone from Scientology lore actually existed. The other religions at least had real people. The only question is if those real people were magic or not.
