I can see that I have seen it, I cant say I really liked it and I have to ask, is that really acting for Belushi?

Sometimes guys just play a role that is basically them, is it really acting at that point?

Do you know why Jeremy Piven did such a great job as Ari Gold? Because he really is a prick.

Guys like Nicholson, are great actors, Phil Seymour is a Great Actor, Robert Downey Jr is a great actor, many, like Belushi are guys just being filmed reading lines

Gang Related with Tupac was a very underrated movie. Both Pac and Belushi performed well in that one.

I like when comedians (or comic relief sctors) play serious roles in movies. Probably my favorite Will Ferell role isn't Anchorman or Elf, but actually Stranger Than Fiction because he was in a sorta serious role.

Ashton Kutcher was in this movie that I caught one late night called "Spread" where he played a pretty boy that preyed on cougars until he met a young chick he liked who was basically doing similar stuff with old men. It had some dramatic moments. It was panned by critics but I liked it.

Since we're on the subject of movies, I'll offer what I think are some contrarian opinions.

There have only been two Godfather movies. Both were made in the 1970s. I refuse to acknowledge the existence of others, that is if others are alleged to exist.

Ebert and some other critics think Goodfellas was better than one or both of the Godfather movies. I don't think so, and while they're both mob movies, I think they're in different sub-categories of the mob genre and therefore not good candidates for comparison.

I totally agree with Stranger Than Fiction, it was excellent and proved that Ferell can actually act and play a solid, serious role. I also agree with Punch Drunk Love and totally agree with One Hour Photo. That move creeped the fuck out of SomeGuy, it was just intense to watch and also very unnerving and uncomfortable. Robin Williams can definitely do things other than play Robin Williams...he has shown this before and certainly hit OHP out of the park.

Since we're on the subject, I'm shocked that you didn't mention The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou

I think Balboa was rated pretty well, right? Regardless, I really enjoyed the movie.

I think Rocky works best as a trilogy, as far as character arcs go.

IV is just a movie, I view it as its own thing. V is a great idea and has some decent stuff in it, but it's just never really gets over the hump. I don't think it's terrible, just not even close to being very good or at least as good as it could have been. It was also just too late in the story arc of Rocky, no one cared and it was pretty schlocky.
