In general that is what I do but there comes a point as a black man that I don't want to be apart of a group where these things are accepted. I'm not saying BF approves of it but it has gone on for years and he continues to push the envelope.

This guy owns a business. I'm sure that if he is not at all concerned about his comments that he could not mind me mentioning his business by name, and thus connecting his comments with his income stream.

I was thinking the same thing. He has made no secret of his business, his name and Mac has even given his business a shout on the air after he worked for him. Why you would allow all those dots to be connected is baffling.

Well maybe the googlesphere doesn't connect Elmhurst Steve and his obvious overt racism with the particular business by name. Mentioning it a couple times, or perhaps starting a couple threads with his quotes and his business name in them, might just get google to connect the dots better. I'm sure most higher end customers google the business name before they buy... I would and do.

I'm with Nas on this. Ignoring the problem doesn't make it go away, as much as you want it to. While the board FAQ doesn't explicitly say you can't be a racist prick, it does say not to be a dick, which is what he is being.

That said, I would assume no more than five to ten members of this board would share his opinion. You always have a few bad apples in the bunch. Look on the positive side that a heavy majority here are modern and accepting.

he's not aggressively bombarding the board, though. JR spammed the politics section all the time. same with goldendomer and mini ditka.

what ES is doing is playing to the stereotype. while i think he is an artard, i doubt he means half of what he says. he just knows he'll get a reaction, especially because he knows there are black guys on the board and he's trying to just be the "villain".
