Was it really that good? He picked some pretty easy targets.

1) People who don't know what double jeopardy is.
2) Cable news pundits
3) People who don't know what the first amendment is.

Honestly, I think most people understand that the jurors had no choice to find him "not guilty" but that doesn't mean that we have to think he deserved to be found "not guilty" of at least involuntary manslaughter. I'd be much more interested in seeing him make a case as to why a competent prosecution could have found him guilty of involuntary manslaughter instead of being condescending towards everyone who isn't a criminal lawyer in Florida.

Oh, but thanks for the suggestion that I go change a law in a state I don't live in. How about instead of complaining about the way that cable news handled the trial you go and create your own cable news network and cover the case as you feel it should be covered? Oh, you mean you have a normal job and a life and don't have the time to change every injustice you see? Well, me too.

I want to see what Boilermaker Rick's friends put up on the twitter and the facebook. Something tells me it is far more detailed than the drivel I was seeing, which happened to be eerily similar to what the initial discussion point was about.

Instead, it was basically "I'm a lawyer and I know everything and everyone else is an idiot" type of deals.

I've looked around, and I've seen no one explain why under Florida law, that involuntary manslaughter wasn't a very attainable conviction. I don't mean the actual case presented by these prosecutors, but let's say a good lawyer was working on it.
