In general that is what I do but there comes a point as a black man that I don't want to be apart of a group where these things are accepted. I'm not saying BF approves of it but it has gone on for years and he continues to push the envelope.

It's not accepted but it is permitted. He is essentially this board's Westboro Baptist Church. Don't take the bait.

He is attempting an acting career which is almost certainly going to fail. He has pride that he calls radio shows. He brags about being a winner in co-ed bowling leagues. He runs a business that he didn't help build and doesn't seem to be expanding though he did paint Mac's basement so he's now gone multi-state. At least his website has corrected some of the spelling errors though!

Can a convertible be far behind? I don't know if he is going to go the route of infidelity, but I believe he has in the past. Will he and his friend who brags about his calls at bars do a trip to Vegas? Will he buy a boat so he can share a lake with Mac?

We all get down in the dumps Steve. It gets better. Maybe you can play racist cop #1 on the new "hit" show Chicago PD! You can even use your posts here on the resume!

To me, this sums it up perfectly.

That's a cop out. If I went to Spaulding and Houston Homer and constantly trolled them that women were inferior and stupid and not the same as men people would be up in arms about it and my stuff would be getting deleted. He gets a pass for some reason here.

Well, only because BF allows it ... it's "his board" after all ... Just sayin'.

I don't think Big Fan necessarily supports Steve's overall agenda, but I don't think he disagrees with all of it either. That's all I have to say about any of this.

You all want to stop his bad posts.....it's real simple.

Just tweet it to Carmen, Jurko, Silvy, Waddle, Mac, and Spiegs....I guarantee it will stop. If a bunch of us tweet them separately, he'll delete it asap. And then he'll say something like "that can be anyone pretending to be me on that website".

And this would be an excellent time to tweet them, seeing as though there were no games last night, so there isn't much to talk about.

You have to start hitting him where it hurts, and it would hurt him if he couldn't call his "brand" into his favorite shows.

Easy .... no need to manufacture reasons to deride and lampoon dickboy when there's enough actual material to work with already.

As I now need to defend myself as a partial racist I guess, I agree that what Steve said Happens.

To deny that a black kid walking through Bridgeport, especially in the past, is not aware of what might happen, is just not accepting of what goes on. BUT THAT DOESNT MAKE IT RIGHT!

Good with that OKC?

More Important

TRYING TO GO AFTER SOMEONES BUSINESS IS TOTAL 100% BULLSHIT AND YOU ALL KNOW IT!

WHY? BECAUSE YOU DONT AGREE WITH A POST THEY MADE????

CAN I CALL FRANKS OFFICE AND TALK TO HIS BOSSES AND ASK IF THEY DONT LIKE GAYS?
BECAUSE IT SEEMS THAT FROM FRANKS POST THAT HIS COMPANY IS AGAINST GAYS?

OF COURSE NOT!

IT IS EXACTLY WHAT I TRY TO AVOID!

A certain portion of the board has a hard on for BF no matter what he does. He applies rules inconsistently on a range of topics to a board he monitors in his limited leisure time. That's the nature of the place. The constant (and it is pretty much at least someone every day) complaints are like me complaining about gravity. That's the board.

Im just asking. Where is the breaking point?

What if he just starts addressing every black guy here with a slur?

Yes, the literal and What if are both relevant

Im just asking what is over the line? Is there a line?

I know the guy who was taking shots at Mac's kids got you pretty pissed. Where is the line here?

Im really just asking. I dont care either way, as i dont come close to the line

Taking shots at a kid here, no matter whose kid, for a handicap, yeah, I think it's low and crossing a line.

I dont support what Stever wrote as something that is right in society, but outside of Steve it exists, to deny that it doesnt happen is fooling ones self.

Could he have said it better, sure, could I edit it Maybe.

All said, still not allowing the pitchforks to go after someones business. If you want to do what SPmack said, go ahead

I guess I can see where this would fit under the dick/asshole rule as it really cannot be something he believes but is something he is writing simply to elicit a response. I still am generally against banning and unnecessary pruning but I am really against the possibility of losing Nas in order to give Steve freedom.

GD I think its in the middle. Yes he's saying it to get a response, but I also think he believes at least part of what he repeatedly says.

For the record, I agree with Big Fan about not sabotaging a guy's livelihood/income because of message board comments and while I understand Darkside and Hank's logic, I agree with Big Fan deleting that other thread.

But who is sabotaging anything? Posting his public website is nothing. His site and phone number are all over the side of his truck. Calling him, emailing him, yes that is a different story and I think that is BS. Posting his website-- which he has said he doesn't care about-- here to laugh at is nothing IMO.

Thank you for the answer

Its not that he said a black kid might feel anxious walking thru a white neighborhood. We all know that certain neighborhoods can be dangerous for certain races.

To say "sass a white man" and "Know their place" is pretty bad.

And that chicken-shit certain portion of the board can collectively go fuck themselves.

I don't much care for the "that's just how things are" basis for the status quo .... it's intellectually lazy and, as was said before, a cop-out ... and I'm not under any obligation to say or be "ok" with it.

So, let me just make sure we're all on the same page ... Frank the Sox jerk and Seinfeld posts, must-prune tv ... assinine racist commentary, completely unprunable ... that makes good sense ... completley equitable ... what was I thinking .......
