Solid round from Eldrick. I still think he'll have to get more aggressive on Saturday to secure the 54-hole lead (which I think he'll need to win this thing), but I can't say his gameplan hasn't worked up to this point.

The speed on his putts has been terrible, but there he is, in contention in another major.

What would the backlash be, if Tiger did this:

Saw him miss a couple of putts inside 3 feet earlier in the round. Not sure how things looked the last 6 holes.

A few par saves. Some scrambling.

Look pretty difficult to get shots near the hole with the wind coming from a new direction than what they practiced.

This afternoon wave is going to be brutal. Tiger might very well be in the lead when all is said and done.

Lefty with a double on 2 and Johnson looks like a bogey on the first.

For some reason, I'm really liking all these Scotland/The Open promo's they are doing. Just learned murder is cool and a motto of Scotland is don't pick a fight or you'll get a bloody nose

One girl finally lets him play "hide the sausage" and his career is completely derailed. Was obviously able to channel his sexual frustration into a good golf game. He need to dump Woz to get back on top.

It's amazing how Cabrera just disappears then a major pops up and, boom, there he is.

It really is. Nothing fazes him, no dicking around - just addresses the ball and hits it.

My suggestion of Stenson is starting to look pretty decent. This is going to be one heck of a weekend.
Is the weather supposed to be pretty tame ?

I think it will be Westwood/Woods and then a final of Jimenez/Stenson. I think Stenson finished before Westwood which is usually how they do it.

He might be in the lead. With the wind in a different direction, if it kicks up more this afternoon, there's going to be a bunch of high scores.

Last 25 groups nobody shot under par. Nobody. That's pretty tough.

It wasn't even a strong wind, just a different direction than they are used to. Those guys suck.

Laird deserved that 9. Just punch out instead of trying to hit a 190 yd shot out of that crap!
