Saw the Dead at year 2 of Bonnaroo. 120,000 capacity main stage.

I don't think there were quite that many people there. I saw the first Bonarroo, and that was about 70,000, but point taken.

First 2 or 3 years were great. Once they started with the pop band headliners the bro and trixie army rolled in and it went downhill.


Year I went the vague campsites were designated as various types of mullets.

It has definitely gone downhill since the first few years. This year's lineup was brutal.

Whoa bros, now you're speakin' my language. Me and Brendan got a bunch of bros together for the Bon last year and it was totes fuckin' amazeballs. First band we saw was Rubblebucket which was kinda weird but there was this smokin' hot chick dancin' to them so we stuck around.

We saw her again at the stage with Skrillex which bummed me out because I fuckin' hate that music but god damn she was fuckin' hot, bros. For reals. Flogging Molly was OK but the MAN, Danzig was fuckin' totes the fuckin' best bro.

I remember me and T-Y yellin' "MOTHER!" all night long, gettin' totes slammed on Bud Light Limes because Brendan's bitch as girlfriend was buyin' the brews and sucks. Fuckin Amy Denbrough. I have no clue why Brendan's fuckin wastin' his time with that bitch.

Anyway, bros, like, The Black Lips were all right I guess...by Sunday I was so fuckin' wastoid I can't remember shit. I think I might've started likin' some shitty bands like Ben Folds Five or whatever. It was fucking great, though bros...we'll prolls go next year, no doubt.

i never had a bad experience but i don't think i could ever do that again at this point in my life

Even though I don't think I've ever heard a Phish song we considered it. My wife got to hear a lot of Phish because of her brothers. She never went to a show though.
