Never too early for that kind of talk. In other future Hall of Famer news:

In latest scenario, Luke Ridnour will end up in Milwaukee, with Wolves signing Corey Brewer and sign-and-trading Kevin Martin from OKC

That's actually a great deal for Teague. $8 million/per for a better PG than Jennings (who was probably demanding max money)

And I am good with that, would be really good if it was the #1 pick. I have no aspirations for this team, but hopefully with a few lucky bounces and couple of young players turning out in a couple of years that might change. I have to hope Kid, that's all I got.

Lebron is going to opt-out next year and come to Milwaukee.

Well, next year is definitely the year to get into the lottery. I'm ok with whatever happens at this point.......EXCEPT.....a 7th or 8th seed. I really hope Hammond hasn't done enough to achieve that.
I wish we were in the West.

Give me your thoughts on Teague?

It's next up on my sewing machine. I'm still trying to fit Antetokounmpo onto the first one I'm making.

So, in other words Teague's contract will expire before I can get it.

Does anyone know how the Bucks view Jennings? I imagine the brazen, free agent self-promotion didn't go over well with management, and not only because it happened during the season (!). On top of that, his mercurial play probably didn't help him curry favor with fans or management. Am I right to assume that if the Bucks re-sign him, it will be because there is no better option on the table? Alternatively, if there is mutual hate between the Bucks and Jennings, is a sign and trade a likely possibility? While I am down on Jennings, I think he's young and talented enough to be worth the trouble if you're looking to upgrade at the PG spot.

Well, they drafted Nate Wolters (traded for) in the 2nd round of this years draft, and they brought back Luke Ridnour in a salary dump by Minnesota. Then they gave Teague an offer sheet. I believe they still also have Ish Smith.

Fairly safe to say, in my humble opinion, that they were/are ready to move on from Brandon.

Right, and in a way this is what I was trying to get at. With Teague off the table, are they ready to let Jennings walk for nothing and just plug the PG hole with Smith and Ridnour? Surely Jennings is too valuable (given his age and where he was picked in the draft) to not get anything in return for him?

I get a feeling they'll go after Linas Kleiza. :|

I feel embarrassed that I carried him two straight years in fantasy hoops.

Is the entire package from the Reddick deal now gone?

Quote:
Sources: Hawks claim Gustavo Ayon

The Atlanta Hawks have claimed center Gustavo Ayon off waivers, sources told ESPN.com.

The Milwaukee Bucks waived Ayon last week before his $1.5 million salary became guaranteed. The Hawks will pick up the 6-foot-10 Mexican's salary, which now becomes guaranteed.

The Hawks and Bucks have been involved in a series of transactions involving each other this summer. The Bucks signed Hawks' restricted free agent point guard Jeff Teague to an $8 million per season offer sheet, which the Hawks matched. The Bucks also signed Hawks backup center Zaza Pachulia to a three-year, $15 million deal earlier this month.

Ayon, who averaged 3.7 points and 4.9 rebounds in 55 games with the Bucks and Orlando Magic last season, will essentially replace Pachulia.

In February, the Bucks and Hawks had extensive trade talks involving Josh Smith but ended up not making a deal.

The Bucks basically aren't even a franchise anymore. They're just a bunch of basketball players and the schedule says you have to play against them sometimes, and half the time you have to go to Milwaukee to do it.

I think we can pencil in the Detroit Pistons as a lock for worst 3 point shooting percentage in the league next season.

Jennings and Josh Smith on the same team? Yikes...

He's not all that much better a shooter than Brandon and he's a turnover machine. On the bright side, he's only going into year 3.

Maybe Drew and Van Exel can bring him along like they did with Teague.

I'm not sure if it was Hammond's intention or not, but this team is lottery bound. Which I'm ok with.

:(

I had Brandon Knight in my fantasy hoops pay league last year. I think I lost the turnover category every week he was active. :x
