I guess he replaces Larry and joins Zack as the 2nd Bear boy on the Score.

First piece of advice, Adam. It's Chris Conte. Not Chris Connie. He called him "Connie" at least 3 times in this report right now.

Other than that, he can show a little more enthusiasm in these reports. He always sounds bored and as though he just woke up.

If it were an undrafted free agent with a real hard last name to pronounce, I wouldn't harp on it. But Conte has been with the Bears for 3 or 4 years and the name is simple. For him not to know it as a Bears reporter is pretty bad.

Yeah he does deserve to get reemed for that. Other than that, he's miles ahead of the ginger jagoff.

I agree it's bad, but how about all of the dbags who still say Urlacher's name incorrectly?

I think Zaidman does an excellent job. His job is to provide the news of the day, and he does that. His job is not to criticize/analyze as the hosts do, and I believe that's where the disconnect comes - just because he's not bashing the team constantly does not mean he's not doing his job, and it doing well.

The problem is that he doesn't do that. He defends the Bears and refutes the obvious. It should be called "anti-analysis" with a foreword by Larry Mayer.

he provides news... then rambles on talking generalities for 2-3 minutes giving you grand big picture conclusions conjured up from trivial news tidbits... you cant help but zone out during most of his reports while he is talking
