I honestly don't get the whole tattoo craze. Never did, never will. I think they look ridiculous. You gotta love people who are 300 pounds who go out of their way to wear clothes that show their ink, like wearing a tank top to show off back tattoos, or a Women wearing a low cut top to show a breast tattoo. Nothing says trailer trash like the barbed wire around the bicep (See Brian Urlacher).

I got a Pink Floyd The Wall tattoo when I was stoned and drunk when I was 17. Not a huge Floyd fan and The Wall is probably one my least favorite albums by them. Dumb and bad. I'll probably get it covered up eventually, hopefully with something less gay, then be done with the tattoos.

I don't have any nor does my wife. What I found amazing is when I was in Vegas two years ago at the Flamingo pool. I estimated that at least 90% of the people in the pool had tattoos. You often don't notice tattoos on people until you see them rather bare, and I couldn't believe the prevalence. Age, race, and gender did not seem to matter. It was rare to see someone without one.

Tattoos are forbidden in the Bible largely because in the Old Testament time they were associated with pagan religions. I am against tattoos for religious reasons because I think they are a sin against the body. If people were supposed to have tattoos they would have been born with them. Marking your body has no positive benefits. On the piercings I think a girl's ears are okay, but I don't see why guys should have those round things in their ears stretching their earlobes or why someone would pierce their nipples or private parts. All of it is rather disturbing and in about 20 or 30 years there are going to be some pretty nasty looking senior citizens.
