So where will they end up in the draft positioning wise? Looks like a Top 5 is in the bag if not a Top 3.

A lot of teams are scoring one run. A lot more are scoring zero. We aren't in 1999 anymore. Thirteen run pools are back. The mighty Detroit Tigers scored two runs last night. If you don't believe the two starters are in a game against each other, you're crazy. I wouldn't count on any "run support".

4 hits and yet another shutout. Looking forward to Robin rolling out the same lineup again tomorrow. Maybe they can get hot and score two runs in a game.

What do you really expect Robin to do at this point? Do you really think a couple lineup changes is going to make any difference?

So Robin runs out the same exact fucking lineup yet afuckingain and they score a whopping 2 runs. That makes a grand total of 3 runs for the entire god damn series. Don't change a fucking thing Robin. Everyone's doing great and 10 game losing streaks are fun.

You are absolutely ridiculous. A lot of teams are scoring 4 and 5 runs a game and *gasp* are winning!

I think they've scored more runs in 2 innings than they did on the entire last roadtrip. If Robin made these changes a month ago they might still be in this thing. Yes I'm kidding, idiots.

Look at that! Score 8 runs and what happens? You end up winning a fucking baseball game.

That had nothing to do with it. Pettitte just didn't get any run support.

Wrong again. Show the class when have I made that argument against a guy who gave up 5 runs and didn't make it into the 5th inning. I'm curious to see what quote you will make up and/or twist around actually.

So now you expect a guy who got 1 run of support to win? If he had allowed two instead of seven would he have deserved to win?

That is not the question I posed to you, so don't dance around it. Quote where I have defended a pitcher who gave up 5+ runs and didn't make it into the 5th inning.

And when Pettite left the game last nite the Yankees had zero runs so your attempt at deflection is a moot point anyway.

Where did I say you defended a pitcher who gave up 5+ runs in less than five innings? I never said any such thing.

So Pettitte got ZERO runs. That's even less run support. How could he possibly be expected to win? What difference does it make if he allowed one or twenty? He didn't get run support. It's all about run support, isn't it? Why don't you just answer this simple question: If Pettitte had allowed two, would he have deserved to win?

IN the game within the game within the game. Its all about pitching on that day. Alex Rios with 4 RBIs pitched better than Pettite.

Although Keyser gives him a bad rap, De Aza played an excellent defensive game yesterday. He got great jumps...of course he did make a typically stupid move by throwing behind a runner up 8 in the middle of the game.

Excellent?? Please. He caught a couple fly balls that any average minor league outfielder would have no problem with. He got "great jumps" because he has to play so damn deep with his inabilty to go back on a ball which of course leads to outs dropping in front of him for hits.

He's a left fielder playing out of position but not for long with Avisail Garcia playing center field in Triple A. My agony will soon come to an end.

I was there and had an great perspective of up the middle sitting behind home plate. He played an excellent game defensively covering lots of ground on at least three occasions. One ball dropped in front of him but no one was going to get it and he should have been playing deep at that point with an eight run lead.

I doubt he'll come out of hiding now. Relatively speaking (fan expectations), this Yankee team may be worse than the Sox.
