Really?? Other than to get in touch with a couple dozen people on a website that only matters to those people, what has it done for Finfer professionally? I believe the site is a useful tool by which the radio hosts can get some feedback about their broadcasts, but that's about it. Most don't bother because I'm guessing they don't value the opinions offered up here.

You answered your own question. I'd wager ratings compose 95% of the way their performance is judged. I wonder how much a hosts radio mechanics are addressed. I mean, it's been how many years and Mully still takes 5 minutes to ask a question?

What do you think the average listenership is on a Finfer weekend radio gig? I'd bet it is a few thousand. If you can turn the tide on opinion and garner say 5% of new listeners while expending no money and very effort, I'd call that a smart move.

But, given that Finfer has come here, addressed some concerns/criticisms fairly directly and as Dolphin has suggested, perhaps will incorporate them into his on air efforts, I'll certainly give him another listen or two. My general "attack" remains intended at most of the younger guys trying to break into on air roles at the Score (not to mention a few horrid "starters"), not just Finfer. Although, the degree(& prime times) to which he's been on, made him my primary target.

But fwiw, him responding has earned him a measure of respect in my book. And I'd love to see him succeed. I'm too damned old to hate....
