Maybe any NBA franchise that allows an ex-player, a coach, a former scout, or basically anyone without genuine business and/or legal training to negotiate with some of the smartest legal/business minds in the entire world should be fined $10 million by the commissioner's office. Do you realize that agents laugh about this behind closed doors? They can't believe they were allowed to negotiate deals with the likes of Mike Dunleavy, Joe Dumars, Kevin McHale, David Kahn, Isiah Thomas, Danny Ferry and the Paxson brothers over the years.

When Datone Jones does the exact same thing to Cutler during the regular season you all will realize you are focusing on the wrong part of the play.

During the Second Half, Bernstein claimed to be eagerly anticipating the release of David Epstein's The Sports Gene, and specifically noted his interest in Epstein's idea that athletes of certain races and ethnicities might be genetically predisposed for success in certain sports. You can't make this shit up!

When did all this start, anyway? Did Dan get bored during a Sox rain delay and read stevesailer.com for like three hours?

im alarmed that emery's 1st draft can almost be considered a failure and we haven't started year 2 yet for these players

1-shea mcclellin.... did nothing last year, early reports in training camp are not positive... i have a feeling year 3 for shea is going to consist of a make or break attempt to play LB after he stinks at DE again this year.
2-Alshon Jeffrey.... could be the saving grace for emery for the 2012 draft, im excited to see him get better this year
3-hardin..... was injury prone in college... got injured in training camp 2012.... hasnt impressed yet in 2013 training camp per beat writers
4-rodrigez..... had trouble with police in college.... carried over to the nfl, already no longer with the team
6- frey..... i hadnt even heard of him until this training camp... he is the 2013 zack bowman... i hope he actually pans out
7-greg mccoy.... never heard of him, no longer with the team... who cares a 7th rounder anyway

people would already be hammering angelo if he had drafted this group

Sure, because Angelo had 8 years of shitty drafts.

Sounds like he broke up a screen pass though.

Apparently the coaches were mad about it. Defensive linemen aren't supposed to jump and try to deflect passes.

I don't think that is a completely fair assessment. Mc Clellin has gotten good decent reviews this year and Frey is reported to be very impressive.

Hardin, on the other hand, hasn't played a down of game day football in almost three years and has never played the position of safety. Rodriguez is gone. The problems with both of these guys was forseeable.

The 2013 crop is looking like a nice group.

That sucks. He was a big corner who could have started in a pinch.

Isiah Frey, welcome to the NFL!
