Did people use to die from getting punched like this? I dont ever remember hearing this growing up. Is everyone on roids now and putting more power into their punches or is everyone just fighting more now?

Vanecko was bigger guy one-punching much smaller kid.

This one looks like a combination of a somewhat larger dude kinda blind-siding his victim as the marine stepped into the punch. and then landing on the curb/pavement.

Don't know the full story about the ex Chicago cop who got 5 years for a one-punch assault in Iowa, tho the guy he one-punched didn't die and even went on to rack up a DUI and other fun stuff:

oh, and comedian Larry Miller apparently slipped and fell of his own volition and took a year to recover from the resulting brain trauma. yikes.
