--Regarding Ultimate Warrior, there is no deal with WWE but a deal with 2K Sports. Warrior is not scheduled on Raw Monday at this point and I don't expect that to change, although I'll bet with the MLB Home Run Derby happening on ESPN, the company will be thrilled to get viewers who hear about the news the next day or two who think he'll be there. However, expect tomorrow a whole lot of talk about Warrior all over social media.

--TMZ reported today that Jacqueline Beems, the ex-wife of Ric Flair, has a warrant out against her for a series of harassing phone calls she allegedly made in October to Wendy Barlow Kidder, Flair's current girlfriend.

--There was a backstage joke last night that the crowd in Philadelphia was larger than the total crowd in all the years combined that RVD worked for TNA.

--A few notes coming out of last night's Money In The Bank: Rob Van Dam needed 14 staples, C.M. Punk needed 13 staples and Cody Rhodes needed five stitches following the show, but overall, no serious injuries. Christian had some teeth chipped from a punch by Sheamus, but the early reports we've got were nothing else. It appears Christian did not suffer a concussion as at first feared.

--Here's a Deadspin story on the guy from Reddit posting WWE results before the PPVs start, something that we've talked about extensively on our shows. The bigger story is how heavy betting has been done on eventual winners long before this guy posts the winners.

We'll see what happens over the next couple weeks/months with Rollins, but I'm not buying it. He's never seemed like the guy to big time management, but I guess we'll see.

Orton as MitB winner does absolutely nothing for me. I could see him being the first guy to cash in on a worn down champion & still lose. Especially with Cena holding the title.

Really hoping Bryan/Axel is resolved tonight, & Bryan moves on to the rumored Summerslam feud with Cena. I have no interest in a full Bryan/Axel feud. That would be a huge step down for him, & I think the crowd will shit all over it.

Expecting big things from the Wyatt's tonight! I'd think we'd get a live promo, & a tag match with Harper/Rowan.

Should be a big night all around. Expecting Brock back after what happened with Punk/Heyman last night. Sandow/Rhodes should be fun too. Can't wait for more McMahon family bullshit. Ehh no, keep it.

On Main Event

The Wyatt family then made their WWE Main Event debut. First attacking Justin Gabriel, the Wyatts went on to direct their attention at Mahal and McIntyre. As Heath Slater tried to escape, he realized there was no way around Bray Wyatt’s rocking chair, and he, too, felt their wrath. The Eater of Worlds then addressed the WWE Universe – and specifically his first victim, Kane – declaring it was time for The Big Red Monster to “follow the buzzards.”

I had a chance to talk to him after a ROH show in Chicago Ridge a few years ago. It was small talk, mostly me complimenting him, and telling him I liked his work. He wasn't a straight up dick, but he did have that "yeah yeah thanks go away" vibe about him. This was when he was Tyler Black, up and coming Indy wrestler. I don't have a hard time believing he's much worse now that the WWE spotlight is on him. For his sake, he'd better lose the tude. That hasn't and will never go over in the world of McMahoh/HHH.

Idea Pitched for Austin at WrestleMania 30

While it seems unlikely that Steve Austin will ever return to WWE for a final match, WWE remains hopeful that he will receive medical clearance at some point, and if he's interested, the company would want him for WrestleMania 30. An idea has been pitched that would see Austin vs Triple H at the big PPV, and the bout would be for control of WWE. Austin would represent Vince McMahon in the match.

Undertaker Not Appearing at SummerSlam

The Undertaker will not be appearing at SummerSlam this year due to a shoulder injury, and it appears at this time as if his usual pre-WrestleMania return will be more likely for him. The Undertaker's ongoing shoulder issues are said to be pretty bad at this point in his career.

Gene Snisky (Snitsky), 43, a former WWE wrestler, is currently working as a bodyguard for
baseball star Alex Rodriguez (who was good friends with Konnan at one point growing up in
Florida). This leads to the obvious choke that if somebody gets to Rodriguez, Snitsky can say,
“It’s not my fault.”

Rick & Scott Steiner worked over the weekend as a tag team for Dreamwave Wrestling on
7/13 in LaSalle, IL, winning a four-way match.

Robert Maillet, the former Kurrgan in WWF, will have a regular role as the lead villain in an
FX TV show called “The Master.” Guillermo Del Toro is overseeing the series. He had cast
Maillet in the movie “Pacific Rim.”

Roddy Piper was in another TV show over the weekend, appearing on the show “The
Haunting of,” on the Biography Channel, claiming he had been haunted by visits from Adrian
Adonis, a rival of his who died in a 1988 auto accident. He was visibly upset on TV, talking
about how Adonis was like a brother to him. Piper and Adonis most famously worked at
WrestleMania III in a hair vs. hair match, but they were also together in Oregon in the late
70s and Los Angeles as few years earlier. The first time I can recall them working together
was in Los Angeles doing this unbelievably lame angle when Piper’s gimmick was that he
was doing illegal hypnosis (seriously) and he was going to hypnotize Keith Franks (the name
Adonis was using, his real name was Keith Franke) into quitting smoking. During the show,
Piper was with a psychic who did this meeting with him saying she could feel the presence of
someone with the letter O in his name who fell from a high place, and Piper quickly said
Owen Hart, someone with the letter C (Piper said Curt Hennig) and a friend of his name
Keith (Adonis).

Saboor told Brian Fritz that the talk of a WWE Hall of Fame at the location that is now NBA
City in Orlando at Universal was false. Those at the park have been saying it for weeks, but
those in WWE have denied it.

Regarding talks of Dave Bautista, 44, returning, there was a report and we checked around on
it. Two different sources have indicated there have been talks, although I don’t know how
recent or serious they are, which only makes sense since HHH was pretty much Bautista’s
mentor as a wrestler. But he’s not coming back any time soon. If he does come back, it would
probably be in early 2014 for Mania season, and one person noted he’s not going to do that if
he’s got anything going on for early next year in movies, because that’s his line of work and
priority now. But he has said in the past he’s up for one last run, and those in the company
believe at same point that is likely to happen. Bautista is currently in England filming
Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy,” in the role of Drax the Destroyer, and will be there for
some time. It was described as something that may happen, but it is not something that is in
plans. As far as he himself, on Twitter, he said, “Not that it wouldn’t be nice, just don’t want
anyone to buy into bullshit rumors. I haven’t talked to Hunter. And I’m tied down for a
while.” He has made it clear if he was to come back, it would only be for WWE. TNA made
a play for him when Flair was working there but it never even came close. The thing is, the
comeback for Mania stuff, that before was limited to Dwayne Johnson and Jericho, can get
out of hand. There were actually complaints about Johnson, which was ridiculous since he
moved the needle significantly the last three years, and in the current top three matches, at
this point five slots will be taken by non-full timers not including potential returns of Jericho,
not even factoring Batista. Batista could fit in given Rock and Austin are both far from locks
for next year. But if one, let alone both, are on the show, I wonder if it would the right year
for Batista without making the guys like Punk, Bryan, Orton, and really everyone but Cena
(who is a lock for a top match no matter who is brought back) really seem secondary on the
biggest show. Then again, at Batista’s age, if he wants one last run, I don’t know how many
more years you want to wait.

A story in Forbes estimated Dwayne Johnson’s movie income over the past 12 months at $46
million, making him the fifth highest among all actors in Hollywood. That would not include
the estimated $3 million that is in the neighborhood of what he would have earned for
promotional work and appearing in Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber, let alone
WrestleMania, where all the details haven’t been broken down and with the big increase in
revenue, it may be impossible to even garner an estimate on.

Rudy Charles, a longtime referee in TNA, was hired as a referee for NXT.

Steve Austin, regarding WrestleMania, in an interview on XM radio’s Busted Open show
said, “Oh, I’m healthy enough. My knees (are) coming around just fine. Its better than it’s
ever been because I’ve been doing my due diligence on my rehab. I’ve got two new
ligaments. Everything else is pain free. I’m still in shape, been working out harder than I’ve
ever worked out. But here’s the deal. When you’re gonna try to commit to do a WrestleMania
30, you’re looking really at, at least a two or three month commitment, if not four. So you
know you’re talking about taking everything else off the table. I can still do my podcast, but
take everything else off the table and focus specifically on that task to do it the way I would
do it, to do it the way Stone Cold Steve Austin would do it, at 120 percent. Because to go out
there and try to perform at 85 to 90 percent because you didn’t prep enough, that would be
bogus, that would be BS, that would be letting the crowd down. And that would be
representing the Stone Cold Steve Austin that I know and love to a degree that is not
acceptable. So, when you throw a legitimate, real deal offer down on the table, and say let’s
talk, then we’ll talk. But until then, conjecture.” He said he likes Punk, the way he handles his
business and how he works in the ring, but wants him to become more of a mainstream star,
and would like to see him lay things in during his matches and work more physically.”Other
than that, I like everything about the cat.” Regarding a match, he said, “I’m not lobbying for a
match. If the stars lined up, then it would happen. But it’s going to take a lot for those stars to
line up. No sense in beating a dead horse. To think about it is one thing. To actually go out,
come to terms and go through the business prep and actually accomplish a match, it’s a whole
different ball game and a major process.” Next year’s Mania would be 11 years since Austin
last did a match. WWE has an interest in him doing the show, if he wants it and can get
cleared (he may feel fine, Edge feels fine but Edge can’t get cleared due to neck problems
and Austin’s neck was in rough enough shape at the end that he retired on his own, as
opposed to Edge where the doctors examined him and made the decision). I don’t want to say
working idea, because that’s too strong a statement, but a working idea for next year’s Mania
main event is Austin vs. HHH, with the control of the company at stake, with Austin
representing Vince. That would indicate HHH ends up as the heel because no way Austin
comes back and is not the babyface. If that’s the idea, we’re talking a double turn since the
simmering stuff so far as been HHH as the face (getting the face jokes in and being the one
who says it doesn’t matter what I think, it’s all about business and what the fans want) and
Vince as the heel (backing Vickie Guerrero, hiring Brad Maddox because he’s mad and
punishing the fans for not seeing Vickie’s talents).

At one point Undertaker & Kane vs. The Shield was a potential SummerSlam match,
stemming from the angle where The Shield put Undertaker through the table with the tripleteam
power bomb. However, Undertaker was either injured in that angle legitimately, or the
angle was done because he was scheduled for shoulder surgery. Either way, he’s recovering
from shoulder surgery now and won’t be at SummerSlam and it’s doubtful he’ll be around
until his usual pre-Mania return. His shoulder issues are pretty bad at this stage of the game.
Mysterio is doing stem cell treatment to regenerate his knee ligaments under Dr. James
Andrews. The treatment will enable him to avoid major surgery and he is now being targeted
to return in about three months.

The reason Tamina Snuka hasn’t been around is because she’s in Hungary working on the
“Hercules” movie as Dwayne Johnson was able to get her a role in it.

NO NO NO NO

I am a HUGE fan of both guys. But Austin in no way shape or form needs to come back to fight HHH.

If he does come back for one match it needs to be against one man and one man only and that man is CM Punk.

Not good to hear, but at least that somewhat confirms what others are saying. I can certainly see how he might come across like that. There's a Jimmy Jacobs shoot where he doesn't have a whole lot of good to say about Black as far as him backstage. I guess it hasn't changed or got worse with Vince.

cosigned.... i mean, technically, he could work a match with Daniel Bryan since good ol Danielson can get the best out of anyone lately, but in terms of the whole package, yeah, if there's one more Austin match it's gotta be with Punk, i mean, Punk can at least put him over in the ring...

if Trips did that, it's only because he'd wanna try to upstage whatever the main event is and work "the biggest match of the night", if not be the headliner. which would be typical HHH crap.... you know, if there's a hot angle he's gotta be a part of it cuz in the E nowadays (where the hell is kujoe? =( ) you don't forget about paul.

speaking of, where the hell has the weird mcmahon power struggle been lately? was firing vickie all they did lately? vince steph and paul know that we're all dying to see more vince steph and paul, just ask vince steph and paul! =D

Who does Del Rio face at Summerslam, I heard RVD's name come up, but that may change after this weeks Smackdown, heard Sheamus come up also.

I just going to guess Christian, seems like he is winning a lot lately.

I heard RVD too, and I'd go with him too. Capitalize on it while he's still mega-over and healthy. Plus he's an LA guy and they love the geography thing. ANYBODY other than Ziggler, we've seen that match 1,000x

It'll be Christian.

Next week Raw spoilers seem to point towards this.

I have a question on anyone who has looked at the WWE website since yesterday, should they be putting as a title for Cena and Nikki Bella, should he put a ring on it?

I understand if they get engaged to put that on their, but it's their relationship, shouldn't have some privacy and like he said just coming off a divorce, may take him some time to ask her. Just feel that they should see how everything goes and then get to that point.

Even former Diva Marie on twitter, saying at the time of the episode that he wasn't officially divorced at the time of the episode.

Also on the WWE website, I know the Orton thing is in a different thread, but for the way they put, reading it first, I almost thought he got beat down or maybe stabbed, they put violently attacked, and with what happened was really nothing, unless it will be part of a storyline.

He plead guilty...

- The fan who attacked Randy Orton during a South Africa house show has been charged with assault. The Wrestling Observer reports that Tshepo Sekhabi was charged with and plead guilty to assault charges.

WWE.com also reported on the news, noting, "The accused party pleaded guilty in court yesterday, August 1, 2013, and was charged and ordered to either pay a fine of 500 Rand or, alternatively, serve 30 days in jail. After acknowledging his wrongfulness, the accused individual was given a three-year suspended sentence, and is not permitted to attend WWE's Live Events in Johannesburg, South Africa, this week."

As previously reported, the company has publicly stated that this is not a storyline. Sekhabi ran into the ring following a match and gave Orton a low blow.

I'd guess he'll still be able to ride this fame to a much better career. Maybe an extra 200k US. In exchange, security for the next fifty years will be awful. Even if it is a work. Great.

Week 2 of Total Divas averaged 1.5 million viewers, UP from Week 1 (1.3 million) - big success to grow audience like that

So what you are saying is they outdraw Impactna.

Sheamus Injured - Out Four to Six Months

Not good…

According to WWE.com, Sheamus has suffered a torn labrum in his left shoulder and will require surgery. The surgery will take place next week, and will sideline Sheamus for four to six months. During WWE's tour of South Africa, his bruised up leg was healing from the MITB match, but he then discovered his range of motion was limited in his shoulder and he experienced sharp pains radiating down his arm. The company had an MRI done, and the decision was made to arthroscopic surgery to fix the injury.

I actually think this is a really good thing for Sheamus. He needs time off TV. He's been in front of people over four years. He's going to get four-five months off to heal up, and he'll be back in time for a build to WM.

As an action figure clown with an irish accent for all the 12 year old kids to cheer for? The could make him a bad ass heel but they won't.

He could go heel again. I thought he was really good in that role. Realistically, he'll be the Irish face for the kids. But with a bigger pop because he hasn't been around. I've never understood the Sheamus hate. I think a big part of it is my earlier point. He's overexposed.

The hate is most likely based solely on creative designing his character to pander to the kids. He is capable of much more but you know how they like keeping the kids interested. When I was a kid watching I don't remember liking cornball characters like him. Hopefully all the kids don't grow up and look back saying that really sucked. I am done with this. I can go back and enjoy all the old cats I would watch when I was that age but I can not see this generation going back to see cornball cena and sheamus.

You're certainly right about him needing time off, Drop In. I wish you'd take some in fact. :P

Actually, I'd already been thinking the same thing.
