To be some sort of Star or Sex Symbol, she is extremely meh. I can't be the only person who saw/sees this. If she were just some chick, she'd be something, I guess. But for a hollywood chick, she has always been average to below average.

I think we should, as a board at least, try to get a somewhat codified definition as to what "hot" constitutes.

I mean, for example, I think in this thread we're using "hot" to mean "would you", and the very obvious answer to that question is "yes" unless you're a fruit.

But to borrow a phrase from Mr. Montoya, I do not think that word means what you think it means.

"Hot", I might say for example, means that on-sight, let alone with an offer to go with it, essentially the loss of the ability to speak as well as the loss of any higher rational thought .... like "unslakeable lust" meets "biological imperative" .... at which point the Jennifer Aniston "hot" level is questionable.

Who was hotter on TV in the 94 - 97 timeframe? You got anyone? I cannot think of anyone but I really didn't watch any TV. It was before some of the hotties on WB came into view iirc.

I'd say Gillian Anderson, Christina Applegate, Julianna Margulies, Jeri Ryan, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Neve Campbell, and Lucy Lawless are in contention as "hot," but I wouldn't say any of them are consensus gimmies as hotter than Cox or Aniston. Maybe Applegate and Campbell.
