Similar to athletes and coaches who claim they don't read or listen to what's being said about them even though you know they do, I'd gather that all of 670/1000 (maybe except Boers) read the board.

I can see some of the guys reading the board, but why would someone like Bernstein or other, similarly well-paid hosts care to read the board? I realize Mac's an exception, but I'd assume an established host like Bernstein, with his ego and aura of self-importance, couldn't care less what most others think of him and the show.

Of course they read it. The importance or significance of our little gathering to them is certainly up for debate as to how they feel about it but c'mon if you had a message board almost entirely dedicated to your job and where you work and there was a chance your name is going to mentioned on a daily basis, it's just human nature to be curious about what's being said about you or your co workers .

Finfer hasn't been around in a week or so and the few times I have tuned in and heard both of them on the air meat has been a dick to him. He had some smartass comment about anchorman 2 and Finfer gave him the "eye roll, whatever" treatment.

I get that, and I would care too, but the question for me is would Bernstein care. Given all what we know about his massive ego, his disdain for most humans other than himself and a few other, "genetically superior" elites, would he really care to check in on what an assortment of radio show/sports fans might have to say about him and the show? If he views the board as an extension of the callers, then I'm even more sure that he couldn't care less about the board.

Plus, given what he's described about his own life outside of his job - philanthropy, wife, two kids, sports, working out, etc. - would he even have the time to check in? Despite his impassioned claims to the contrary, there's a certain kind of misanthropy I sense about him which leads me to believe, ergo, that he's not going to care what a collection of lowly plebeians say about him, especially on a forum that in his elitist arrogance he'd probably equate with joblessness, certain kinds of criminal behavior, and general social undesirability.

I am still waiting on 5 days worth of Urban Meyer programming from Dan. I would like some research done on exactly why 2 cornerbacks were involved in off field issues. The first guy was dismissed from the team....he was not a starter and was coming off an acl reconstruction. The other was an all-american starter and he got demoted to 2nd team during camp. I believe the all-american was involved in a bar fight and was arrested. The other guy violated "team rules". In researching this for clarification I just read that the guy dismissed was reinstated....just like the running back that was dismissed for a day or so this year. Light him up Dan.
