LA KISS....Yes it is named after the band. Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley are two of the owners of the team that will begin play in 2014 at the Honda Center in Anaheim.

I had a feeling there had to be more to them playing at Amway Center in Orlando tomorrow night for Arena Bowl XXVI. Figured they had to be partnering in something with the AFL. Wasn't sure what. Didn't think it would have been an expansion team.

I saw a couple comments saying they should have named the team the LA Destroyers or LA Dynasty. That would have worked.

Not a shock. They had a lot of ownership problems. Had to play their final home games in Rockford.
