The whole regiment of a retirement home is what bothers me as I look into the future. If I reach my 90s and I feel like pulling the covers over my head all day on a cold winter day, I damn well better be able to do it. I'm not waking up at 6 am because it is more convenient to feed me at that time and I certainly will be keeping a bottle of something in my fridge in case I want to celebrate a day of continence.

of course, a daily sponge bath from a hot nurse might change my attitude

Yes, the Cubs could have tried to be Adequate these last couple years. Thats fine. Its a valid opiniion.

But the constant bitching and hand wringing and lusting after mediocre veterans gets old though.

I dont pay enough attention but someone make a list of the players Jimmy has mentioned wanting over the last few years

and Then post when he says they're garbage like 3 months later.
