That's why they're going to lose 100+ games.

Just an awful AB by the Phegaloon. He has to stop taking that first pitch fastball. Pitchers are just carving him up with sliders out of the zone.

Wait, so Garcia has been moved out of CF?

Isn't he a little large for CF anyways?

Stone gut strikes again. Pauly could have made that pick without a glove. Reeder pitched over it though. Another nice outing from Quintana. It sure is easier to pitch when the offense is able to score more than 2 runs.

White Sox purchased the contract of RHP Jake Petricka from Triple-A Charlotte.

It's about freakin time. Don't let the door hit you on the way out, Troncoso.

Beckham turned a hit into 2 outs. He's playing fantastic baseball.

I remember seeing Petricka down in Winston-Salem a couple years ago on a rainy night. He threw gas, had some command issues, but he may have worked those out in two years.

He had some nagging injuries that could have led to those command problems. He has a great arm and I think they pulled him from the rotation to quick but he's been pretty dominate as a reliever so maybe it's for the best. I was really hoping they would put him in tonight when it looked like Jones was going to piss it away in the 8th.

The Sox are tied for the league lead in complete games with 5 and Chris Sale has 4 of them?? That's unbelievable. Way too many five and dive pitchers out there today.

I still can't believe Scherzer has never thrown a complete game. Never.

That was a nice win. Johnny Danks threw a really good game. These turds have been playing some crisp baseball the last week or so.

That was the exact type of game the Royals used to place against the Sox in the past. Late season with the team on the fringe of a race and needing a win against a pitcher they think they should rip and...shutout.

Atrocious outfield defense this season. Hahn needs to seriously upgrade that this off season.

Holy crap can Garcia get down the line. Escobar cadillaced it and he made him pay. This kid is going to be a lot of fun to watch.

Strasburg just threw his first last week.

Well Strasburg has only made 69 career starts and he's also had TJ surgery. Scherzer has made 158 career starts without a complete game. That's really hard to believe.

Rienzo pitched well last night. His curve ball had a ton of bite. He's never going to be overpowering but as long a he continues to change speeds and move the ball on both sides of the plate, he will be pitching in the major leagues.

I think the key for him is to have command of his pitches. The five walk games will not do.

I hope De fuckhead hit that lazy fly ball on a 3-1 pitch and not a 3-0 pitch. That dickhead should never swing 3-0.

Farmio was complaining that Danks didn't tag up on that one.

I love how they're raving about how great the Royals bullpen is. If you have the #1 pick in the counrty (Hochevar) and the #12 pick in the country (Crow) down there you better have a good fucking bullpen.

The sooner the David Purcey experiment is over the better. This guy fucking blows.

My guy Petricka is coming in. Nice.

Petricka comes in for his MLB debut, throws 3 pitches and gets a win. Rienzo has to throw 5 quality starts before he gets a W, meanwhile Quintana couldn't buy a decision if his life depended on it.

I luv baseball.

Not sure if I've ever seen a ball get stuck under the sidewall like that but Viciedo's dumb ass shouldn't have just stood there with his arms in the air. Get the ball, Dummy.
