The Law is busy. Can't get in. I'm going to reserve ten more minutes.

Remember how "right" the timing was with Ziggler? I'm not saying he was on the level with what they're doing with Bryan but remember how happy/excited we all were?

Ya, I hardly do either.

Didn't the concussion Ziggler suffered kind of kill his momentum?

Ziggler didn't have anything close to the fan reception of DB. I'm getting destroyed by Don on THE LAW. Drop In was first. Tears.

Wait you're seriously annoyed we were deprived of a Big Show match on this card?

it was a solid contemporary WWE PPV. go figure that father gummit himself, tEH TRIPS, had to jump on the daniel bryan train and ride it to central station @ the heart of the top feud in the company. i reckon randy orton is going to be a nondescript corporate thug beholden to trips meanwhile vince allies himself with daniel bryan and they end up having their "power play" on air.

it's gotta be something like that with trips being the guy who essentially handed out the title belt. ideally MITB would be used to get your damien sandow types a chance at the top of the card, but hey, sometimes you've got a big $$$ asset in boreton and you have no idea what the hell to do with him.... heel comes way more naturally to him, so why not set things up so nobody forgets about hunter whilst randy orton gets that big heel turn that everyone had been dying for. ha.

speaking of, for a good minute there i was convinced that cena was going to finally go heel.... he had some rumblings. maybe it's a slow build to evil cena, altho they'd have to do it in such a way that he sets it up like "it's me and my fans vs the world" cuz i don't think he'll ever completely shit on that ~12 year old make a wish kid demographic. they'd have to play it like "everybody hates me.... except for you, cenation, the best fans in all of professional wrestling!" and make some sort of an edgy black shirt with HUSTLE LOYALTY RESPECT, maybe change it up like NO RESPECT? NO LOYALTY? HUSTLE. at this point heel cena is the closest they'll ever come to a monster turn that "means something" a la hogan @ bash on the beach, especially when the ex-indie star circuit guys like punk and danielson have been perpetual tweeners for a very good % of their careers.

we'll see what creative thinks, but they'd be utter fools to let cena go a whole career without a proper heel turn. was he a heel at all early on in the first year or two when the rapping gimmick was front and center? cuz nowadays cena's gimmick isn't even ex-wigger, it's just OMFG SUPERCENA WINS LOL!!!!! and the kids pop for him cuz akin to vintage era hootie hogan, they're more caught up in the whole spectacle... the brand. the shirt hat and wristbands with that goofy "OK" symbol he always tosses up (i presume it came after the wigger gimmick seeing as they dont wanna indoctrinate kids to throwing up gang signs or anything....)

ah well, c'est la vie. there's my rambling for the night.... as always, thanks for providing entertainment sidebars during another PPV.... teh CSFMB is truly blessed to have proper wrestling section chock full of you lot; #realtalk on twitter, mon frere!

If you guys still want this, I'll still do this....at least I don't have to do it from CIJ's bathroom, or my car.

btw... no cribbage tonight? no proper recap tomorrow morning @ 3am?

never let a proper wanton thought be wasted in the iniquitous abyss of reality; digitize that motherfucker and let it stand amongst its peers for the rest of recorded human history! if everything is being downloaded/archived, can you imagine the sheer joy that those agents must get perusing through the entriety of twitter? search functions are your friend.

i'm actually having another existential moment here wondering just exactly why i'm about to post this: the fun never ends! and this is all derivative of the thought that

Go for it; I have class in the morning so I can't listen. I'll just listen to the replay tomorrow

I knew it. I will. By the way, you know I love you fuckers because I'm still making this happen. But it feels forced.

Yeah Bryan's never used Japanese tropes in his matches and probably incorporated them as a result of the G1

(Though I was kind of hoping they'd do the Ishii-Shibata knees spot).

Dave Meltzer talking is like a giraffe making love. It's an obnoxious noise that few have wanted to hear.

These guys are right to dread the Punk-Ryback feud but I think it has a decent chance of happening. Langston and NXT guys would be just as big steps down as Axel would be for Punk.

No offense to you guys, but I'm staying on to mock Meltzer. But I'm still getting you guys in.

I remember Drop In and everyone saying that it was gonna be great with Nash after SummerFest 2011. How'd that work out?

Yep but on the bright side Triple H actually turned heel here, and there wasn't interference from Syxx or Scott Hall in his wheelchair.

This broad on the contest, Darlene. You are bringing back the woman's movement 50 years. Scorehead would be proud.

Quit trying to cover for your poor performance in trivia. Saying Wembley Stadium was in Chicago was your covert way of trying to give a shoutout.
