Jesus when anyone plays Freebird I wanna smash something.
About 5 minutes before the start of a Blackhawks playoff game at a sports bar last spring some jagoff spent a finski on about 6 fuckin AC/DC songs too. Owner wouldn't put the game on til dude had his play. I was pissed.

In college, I would play Pink Floyd's "Echoes" three straight times, then leave the bar. I was/am an asshole.

This wouldn't bother me at all. If you want to listen to the play by play, I would advise staying home. I would prefer music being played at the bar.

It really pisses me off when someone requests the play by play to be turned up for some non-important regular season game. That guy deserves a kick to the groin.

These probably depend on the type of crowd of the bar. These could be the absolute greatest plays or worst:

Friends in Low Places - Garth Brooks
God Bless the U.S.A - Lee Greenwood
Sweet Caroline - Neil Diamond
Wagon Wheel - Old Crow Medicine Show
Take Me Home Tonight - Eddie Money
I Love This Bar - Toby Keith

I'd rather listen to Hockey play by play than 6 songs in a row of ACDC. I don't hate ACDC, but they are only good in small doses. Anymore than 2 songs in a row and that shit gets old real quick.

Worst:
Toby Keith - I love this bar
Kid Rock - That stupid bastardization of Warren Zevon (I still hear this every time I go to a bar)
Anything in Nickelback's catalog
Any pop-country

Yea, pretty much everything Hawger likes sucks.

I'd also like to add this one which no one other than NSD would defend as a good play:

Night Shift - OAR

When I was 16 or 17, my friend and I played Michael Bolton's "When A Man Loves A Woman" 9 times in a row at Russell's off of Algonquin. When we went back the next year, the jukebox was gone.

Yea, I was a bad ass like that.

When I was in high school at Gordon Tech we had a jukebox in the cafeteria. Most of the guys who played it seemed to be stoner types. The most popular songs were "Paranoid", "Iron Man", "Feel Like Makin' Love", and "Free For All". One day somebody stuck in a bunch of quarters and played "Another One Bites The Dust" about a million times in a row. Some stoner got up and unplugged the jukebox. He received a standing ovation. The Resurrectionist brothers never let us plug the thing back in for the rest of the year.

Go-to song to piss off patrons as I'm leaving an establishment: The Doors - The End.

That Drowning Pool song about bodies hitting the floor is one I always enjoy in a bar when I've tied one on.

I remember being in Lake Villa as a teenager and hitting up this diner w/ a buddy. We were both really high at the time and this diner had a jukebox playing the occasional C&W song at high volume. We perused the song selection on our way out - in the midst of all these country songs was Van Halen's "The Full Bug." How could we not play it? We could hear it clearly in the parking lot as we casually walked to our car. Good times.

We once played "three times a lady" about 10 times at a Shit-kicker bar and left. We heard someone ripped the player off the wall.

Was going to post this.

I once played The Pogues at a biker bar. Shockingly that didn't go over very well.

Iron Butterfly - In A Gadda Da Vida. 17 minutes of horror while at the VFW with Blue Hairs everywhere. The Bartender was asked by a dozen people to turn it off.

In college in the Cafeteria, we played Kokomo. ten times. It never made it to Five before security turned it off.

Last Saturday, some young guys at my local bar played "Never Gonna Give You Up", "Ebony and Ivory" and "Careless Whisper" in a row. It was so bad but the whole place laughed about.
