First time I have ever seen him with the belt. I took a nice long break.

What's being missed here is that Vince is officially passing the torch to Hunter on camera.

I noticed and you're dead right. Actually think they did it right by not letting D-BRY get the upper hand tonight.

You god-damned right. Thought precisely the same .... Hunter took a moment to wind-up but man oh man did he get lockstep into a McMahon promo but quick.

Don't know how I feel about that ending. Why didn't anyone come help him when Shield attacked? And I can't tell if HHH was aware of how meta he was being with all the criticism against him.

His blind faith in WWE Creative had to be proven right eventually.

3 suits and the belt in the ring and the shield outside. 7-1 shows incredible strength for Bryan.

I think it was obvious that he was aware of it.

It was basically a promo for the IWC.

First, they were "ordered" not to help. Also, the Daniel Bryan character post-SummerFest doesn't need help. He's just that damn good. He doesn't care if he has friends. He doesn't care if he's fired. He'll go back to the VFW and wrestle. Which could be a challenge by the way.

I think the point was the locker room is scared to cross Trips at this point. I think it added to the passing of the torch. Helped that Cena disappeared because his character wouldn't have been able to help himself.

They were ordered not to lay a hand on Bryan - including the SHIELD. Once they did, the baby's should have come runnign down to help - thats what they do. But I guess with Cena out, and Punk hurt, no one else really to make the save.

Maybe because its fresher in my mind, but this was a better RAW than the one after Mania. Top to bottom a solid show and an overall story within the show. That is what they were missing for so long. I really hope they can sustain this as they have the talent for another high level era of wrestling.
