I remember Goff bitching on the air that Score producers didn't get comp'd for the Score's anniversary roast. That wasn't for charity. Zimmerman wanted to make money from his people and the listeners.

Mac didn't literally go into Mr. Mitch's office and tell him he wanted to fire Goff, he just made Finfer his fill-in guy and the rest took care of its self. No blood on Mac's hands, no guilt, no nothing. When Mac says "I didn't fire Goff" he is correct, he didn't fire Goff, but he sure did the one thing that would back Goff off the cliff.

He was never a Score host, never. He was used as a way to slap around other hosts/producers and show the power the Mac wielded at 670. I'm sure other personnel thought he was in a weakened state upon his return so this was a way to show them that he could take some greenhorn off the street, plug him and do shows all with the snap of a finger.

It worked.

Any chance Mac can work that magic again with Abbatacola?
