What happened to Edinson Volquez? The guy used to be a pretty good pitcher. Certainly sucks ass now.

Wonder if the Cubs take a flyer on him in the offseason.

Nasty Nate just don't stop. I would consider extending him. This is his first real opportunity to get ab's consistently and he has been a beast.

Castro looking like shit turning double plays now. Throws the first one in the dirt but rizzo picks it and bobbles the exchange on the 2nd.

Looked up Cashner's numbers. The guy has a ~2 ERA at home and an ~5 ERA on the road. Obviously Petco is helping the guy out. Still think he will have a better career overall over Rizzo.

Add in the bobbled relay throw too. Got helped out by being beaned on a 1-2 count. No way he was getting a 2 out knock to drive Barney in. He's just not very good this year.

Castro isn't big on thinking. But even he basically said the coaching staff has ruined him because they're making him think. I'd love to see him be sign him to a contract Castro and trade him.

Now a triple clutch on a routine play....barely got Denorfia out. Definitely a couple of cogno's shouted by castro after that play. The wheels have completely fallen off. He needs needs TJ more than anyone could ever need TJ tonight.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe Schierholtz is still under arbitration for next year. Obviously you offer him if that is true.
