I've moved on to Superbrawl '97 and its main event, Hogan vs Piper. This match is actually pretty entertaining because of Piper's classic old school in-ring moves and pyschology. Oh, did I mention Heenan and Rhodes are BOTH doing commentary? Crowd is crazy hot during the match. Haha.

God, why do y'all start so late at night?

I have five matches of this show on an old compilation VHS. Crazy to see the Comiskey Park background. They were going for a Showdown at Shea-vibe. It wasn't exactly a capacity crowd though, and the placement of the hard camera (and the camera work in general) sucked. Case in point, the camera misses the finish of the first match.

By comparison, the WWF pretty much sold out County Stadium at WrestleFest '88 a few years later and the camera views were perfect. WF88 is how you do a baseball stadium show.
