Let's take a look at that White Sox thread about prospects.....

8 pages since April 2013 vs 60 pages since April 2011 for the the Cubs

Here are the names that "YOU" talked about this year in those same 8 pages of White Sox minor league BULLSHIT

Erik Johnson
Scott Snodgress
Chris Beck
Santos Rodriquez
Jacob Petrica
Daniel Webb
Micah Johnson
Andy Wilken
Tony DeMichele
Marcus Siemen
Carlos Sanchez
Courtney Hawkins
Andy Engel

Talk about SAD .........

Now I know you are the self proclaimed CSFMB minor league and prospect know it all but help me out a bit..... Ceasar ?????

And yet, this "sad" minor league system continues to turn out productive MLB players, especially pitchers.

Our minor league system also brings up a lot of shit posts from Sox fans, so that's helpful.

Not really.

I mean, no more than the average mlb team. We did this with the Cubs and Sox recently and they've had similar success.

Sox fans getting very upset!

He's a really knowledgeable poster when it comes to Cubs prospects. For some reason Keyzer becomes a dipshit when it comes to Cubs prospects.

Actually, it seems he just pops in from time to time to make certain posters look absolutely stupid then he disappears.

He is more knowledgeable about baseball than anyone who has posted on this page, Ill say that.

That being the case, shouldn't he pop in to acknowledge that Theo's "plan" has obviously gone off the tracks this season what with giant steps back for line-up centerpieces Rizzo and Castro? Or does THE INQUISITOR believe the Cubs will contend in 2015 with guys who are now in A ball?

As usual you're assigning beliefs to him that you deem "What Cub fans thinks"

I think he's pretty realistic.

I disagree on your assessment of Rizzo and on those two guys being as important as you say.

But that's just me. Time will tell and it will be interesting

I really dont understand why sox fans seem so concerned with Theo and how he's judged.

Why is that so important?

Why not just watch the games? Who cares what the media and some uneducated fans think?

Let's assume, safely, that those you reference are in AA to start 2014:

Why do you think they cannot make the jump from AA to the majors within one calender year? I mean...it only happens all the time. So I'm confused as to why it sounds crazy to you.

I think some might, others might not. But I highly doubt enough of them are going to do it and play at a high enough level to contend. So if they really are going to contend in 2015, it isn't going to be with those draft picks.

Now, I don't think this season is a great example of what Castro or Rizzo are capable of. But it isn't really fair to have it both ways. If they were having giant years, they'd be examples of Theo's genius. So don't tell me that when they're having shitty years they're still examples of his genius, because you know, he's Theo, he's got a plan, hey, man, you don't talk to the Theo. You listen to him. The man's enlarged my mind. He's a poet warrior in the classic sense. I mean sometimes he'll... uh... well, you'll say "hello" to him, right? And he'll just walk right by you. He won't even notice you. And suddenly he'll grab you, and he'll throw you in a corner, and he'll say, "Do you know that 'if' is the middle word in life? If you can keep your head when all about you are losing theirs and blaming it on you, if you can trust yourself when all men doubt you"... I mean I'm... no, I can't... I'm a little man, I'm a little man, he's... he's a great man! I should have been a pair of ragged claws scuttling across floors of silent seas...

They can compete next year. Just not with "the plan" that has been laid out thus far by Theo Epstein. Sure, they can go to a Hendry plan and compete in '14. That isn't what the Cubs have been selling. And I'm not assigning beliefs to anyone. But you've got to be kidding if you're saying that Anthony Rizzo, a guy Hoyer and Epstein have been obsessed enough to bring with them across the country, isn't supposed to be a key piece. And he may be a key piece yet. I'm just saying that you couldn't possibly be happy with the way Castro and Rizzo have developed this season. And the other guys are still further away than next year.

This is just your thoughts, and isn't an actual thing.

...as always when you bring it up.

Of course it's my thought. I wrote it, didn't I? What is your thought? Very pleased with the development of the key pieces Epstein signed to long-term deals?

Id say they compete with a nice hybrid of Hendry and Theo's style.

It seems like you were kinda suggesting that Inquisitor is all positive.

No, I dont think Rizzo is a giant piece and I dont think trading for him twice means they're obsessed. They traded a pitcher with an arm injury for him, not exactly a king's ranson.

And its pretty common for GMs to try and bring over some of their guys

They think he's good and he probably will be pretty good. But he is not a centerpiece or anything.

Ive always thought he'd be the guy who was first in the rebuild and went thru a lot of bad years but was around when they got better.

Kind of like Nick Markakis

I never said anything about his knowledge.

He pops in from time to time when somebody bashes the Cubs and turns it around on how 'bad' the White Sox are.

So he's a Cubs fan obsessed with the Sox.

See Camps? They do exist.

I like the Rizzo long term signing. The Castro and Jackson signings were on par with slipping on a banana peel.

He's jumped in on other people too. Sometimes without know the whole story. He jumped all over me for saying "losing pitcher" Travis Wood earlier this year in the All Star thread.

That may be right. Are there any guys they currently have that you believe will be the key guys on a future champion?

Neil Ramirez made his debut tonight for the Smokies. He pitched 4 and 2/3 innings, allowed 1 hit, walked 2 and allowed no runs. I believe he struck out 5. Nice work.

The Daytona Cubs are 3 outs away from the Florida State League title.

Breeding champions down on the farm. Daytona's pitching was lights out in the playoffs. Starters didn't give up a run the entire time.
